Why not rest everyone on Saturday - our previous "squad rotations" have earned us a free weekend.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Firmly in the “we should be trying to win this” camp. We’re one of the strongest teams in the competition, and it offers us the chance to actually see Morton compete for silverware and potentially play somewhere new. Nobody is denying the current format of the competition is a joke, but it shouldn’t alter our ambitions - should be aiming to get as far in this competition as possible, every year.

Agreed, posted this in another thread....

You've got to imagine that some of the changes will be Gaston for Scully, Oliver for McHugh, Waddell for Kilday/Buchanan, Iredale for McKeown with maybe Robert Thomson, Tiffoney and maybe Armour making appearances from the bench, not exactly an understrength side.

And forgot about Bell

Just see team.  A bit disappointed  as  we  have 12  days to  next  league game  to  be  resting so many  players .

Expecting a  defeat  tonite  as  I  believe  Dumbarton will  go  for full  strength team as  don't  think  we are  strong  enough . Hope I  am proved  wrong

forever optimistic

Ffs. I appreciate rotating the team slightly but that’s fucking abysmal. No Tidser to come on and change the game if required either. We don’t even have a game this weekend so worrying about tiredness isn’t an option.

There's nothing to suggest that team will lose tonight. Good for few guys to stake a claim for a place in the team.

3-0 Morton.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Would have been nice to know we were genuinely putting out a a reserve team before getting to Dumbarton.

Ridiculous decision to rest our first choice goalkeeper.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
