Imrie clearly can’t be arsed with the support going by that behaviour at the end. Petty stuff tbf.
Probably our best performance I’ve seen this season with Strapp MOTM for me.

What did Imrie do?

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

Brilliant result. Special mention to Mullan for that save in the first half.  Shame to lose a late goal but 3 points is 3 points. Strapp superb.

From what I saw from my dodgy stream he made a beeline to thank the fans. Maybe I missed something.  Who cares anyway.

No failures in a great team-based effort. We'll play better football this season but that match was about stopping Inverness' momentum first and then beating them in a slugfest. We definitely did that and fully deserved the win.

For all his (justified) criticism, Power was key to clinching the three points once he came on. Broke up play effectively and used his experience to slow the tempo down when needed and used the ball well.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

That was the Morton we are used to seeing! High press was brilliant, and made Inverness very uncomfortable.

Welcome back Lewis Strapp, what a performance btw 👏🏻  Adds so much intensity to how we play. First 90 in awhile so his legs will be in bits tomorrow!

He didn’t applaud the fans originally when he walked over like he usually does, however as he walked away from the cowshed he did turn round and give acknowledgement. Who gives a toss anyway, a great performance and an even better 3 points. Special mention to Strapp who was outstanding all night.

Btw has that referee ever did a game in our league before? He was so inconsistent and pretty poor for both teams. Looked like he never had control of it and not got a clue where he got all the added time from.

Absolutely brilliant performance from back to front, Inverness barely got a kick.

Oakley worked his socks off and really deserved his goal, got to feel for Muirhead aswell he could have had 2.

Strapp was outstanding he is just a different level of player and that's someone who hasn't played for about 11 months.

Referee was utter dog shit no idea who he was but he seemed to think the game was all about him booked about every player and never let the game flow utter tadger.

Anyway onwards and upwards another 3 points on Saturday and that 9 out of 9, well done boys let's keep this going.

Folk moaning about Dougie not acknowledging the fans on command need to get a grip. We won a tough game, the performance was good and he actually did acknowledge us at the end.

The game.... Great team performance and not one failure.  Special mention to Oakley and Wilson.  Strapp my motm and Crawford back to his best onto Saturday and hounding these amateur cunts from up the road.

Massive performance, much more like the Morton we know under Imrie.

That ref, Christ.

My favourite decision was to give a free kick for offside against Oakley (great decision from him to disrupt Inverness) inside their half and let's them take it in Morton's half.

Onward and upward. GIRUY "Dunc".

A huge result with some excellent individual performances in there. Oakley and Strapp were phenomenal, but Wilson was MOTM for me. He's been outstanding in the last month or so. Also, the improvement in Strapp's long throws is clear, they are now a consistent threat.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

If that's all it was, I can't believe anyone cares. Shouldn't need a pat on the back every time you come to support your team.

We should really have won that by 3 or 4 on the strength of the second half performance, but job done regardless. Feared the worst when Gillespie went off so early but Power was excellent.

That was like watching Morton of last season again, the intensity gave Inverness no chance really and Strapp, Wilson & Oakley were all superb. That Inverness defence is obviously there to be gotten at. All four of them were bombscares, especially Ujdur and Davidson.

Imrie deserves massive credit for that setup as well, it was extremely bold to change the shape and personnel in dropping two of our best performers on Saturday after a first league win in a month and he was fully vindicated.

I thought we needed 10 points from this month to get ourselves into a position where survival was realistic: we're already only 3 points off 5th with a game in hand and a trip to Airdrie coming up soon. The really encouraging thing is that they've not been smash and grab wins, we've been the better team in both games. The season can still be a mess from here, there are still obvious weaknesses and we need to be more clinical as we'll rarely have as many chances as that second half, but we've got a real chance to turn it round now with the three games left this month.

I was fully expecting it due to 10 subs, Muirhead and Gillespie being down for a couple of minutes and the couple of warnings about time wasting at bye kicks, corners and throw ins.

I had a tenner on 2-1 so was happy to see them grab a consolation.

Brilliant win, Strapp was absolutely class. Good to see us back to the Morton we all loved last season. Hopefully kick on and get us back in the playoff mix.  WIlson, Oakley Power and McGrattan all impressed too.

Hopefully pump QP on Sat for the perfect week.
