Someone has suggested on P and B that Fyvie is signing for Cove Rangers, which would be a weird one all round.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Would take Fyvie and Nesbitt as definite performers at this level. Amazed Utd are releasing them! Fyvie can compete in midfield and Nesbitt has a great final ball in him!

I've always thought that Nesbitt's final ball was his big problem. Hardly any assists or goals in his season with us - too often didn't get it right in the final third. From what I've read he had the same issue at Dundee Utd.

Wasn't that Luke Donnelly?

I was in Scotland for that game, absolute nightmare miss.

One goal in 13 appearances (9 starts (subbed off 8 times), 4 sub apps, 708 minutes) for him at Arbroath since January. Maybe his hold-up play is good or something. Probably not.

Duffy had an obsession with him as well.

I thought Iredale had a pretty poor season overall. At times his confidence seemed to be shot to bits. It's been disappointing because we know that he's capable of better, but his level of performance didn't often match the potential he has. We've seldom seen the level of performance from when he burst onto the scene last year. I'm not really sure how he'll get on down there.

Darren Hynes, Alexander Easdale and Ben Eardley sign new deals. Think it's safe to say who the investors are now.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Jack Purdue was decent in football manager so I'm surprised he's been released.

Creating space for the Newcastle kids IMHO.

You may be spot on here.

Back when this made the news (new investors and becoming a satellite club) a spokesman* for the group said it was a matter of when, not if, this would go ahead.

* I think he was CEO of McGills? Or maybe someone else connected to the Easdales.
