January Transfer Window Thread

Why?

He talked his way into the gig which wouldn't have included reference to 'aye, but we' ll be rancid until January when I rip up the squad'. He talked his way into the gig presumably by claiming he could get a tune out of this squad, which evidently he can't. All talk very apt here.

He talked well after games (at the start), highlighting what went wrong but has demonstrated absolutely no abity to remedy the issues. Again, all talk very apt here.

That's before mentioning the talking down of expectations to try to drop them to his level.

Then talking up Falkirk as if we will buy into that.

He has shown the square root of nothing but talk.

Can't disagree really

TIME FOR CHANGE!

A good football manager makes the squad he has at his disposal look far better than the sum of its parts. This squad isn’t utter dung: it is being made to look worse than it really is because our crap manager doesn’t know what he or they should be doing on any given Saturday.

It’s TTG.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

None of us are impressed but it's not really the time to push the panic button. Unless there's an outstanding candidate out there we're about to miss out,or we do slip to bottom two or three we'll keep on with what we've got as a management team until the end of this season. Any management team will get a transfer window unless things go cataclysmicly bad. We're not as bad as that yet and they will get time to improve unless something drastic happens in the next couple of weeks.

You’re delusional. If we lose against those luvvies on Saturday then we’re right in the middle of a relegation battle that clownshoes is unlikely to win.

Anyone that thinks JJ should be sacked already is delusional and should climb over the railings at the Esplanade and honour the fact they belong in the sea.

Au contraire; anyone who thinks that ‘JJ’ is anything other than a gubbins dud by now should try swimming to Arran to secure your destination.

In the same way that it really didn’t take more than 45 minutes for Sir David Irons to tell that a player was utter dung, the thinking section of the fanbase (at least) doesn’t need more than 15 games of utter failure to determine that we’ve appointed an absolute James Grady-esque dud. It’s actually a very straightforward conclusion.

Everyone gave him goodwill; he blew through it quickly by losing 1-5 to fucking Ayr amongst a minor sea of utter dung results this year; it’s time to get rid.

I'm trying to work out which player(s) you're referring to.

Look at her riding pillions on Davy’s sea-bike, carrying an apoplectic macaw in a silver hoop. Oh, Morton, let’s go there this winter!  Or learning the Japanese chinchona from that Kobe group, in a dress that looks like a blowtorch rising from one knee, and which should sell big in Texas. Morton, is that real fire? Happy, happy little girl!

I'm trying to work out which player(s) you're referring to.

They were the usual parade of ringers who landed a trial during pre-season; one of the many laughable claims made against big, bad David Irons was that he had the cruelty and lack of foresight to make his mind up about those duds after 45 minutes and 'didn't give them enough time to prove themselves'.

Which is up there with 'David Irons deliberately injured Kevin Finlayson and other players in training' and 'David Irons was responsible for Colin Stewart chucking in goals two seasons after his departure from the club' in the list of utter bulls*** claims that this cesspool of a forum specialises in.

There’s a decent player in there and we saw if in flashes for us but he can’t operate/the manager can’t get him to operate in the system we’re using. Nothing against the boy, but anyone “wishing him all the best” at that mob can report to the sea.

Don't blame him for leaving after being shunned by the Finnish Fergie despite there being absolutely no flair, pace or creativity in our squad. I don't even blame him for going to Falkirk of all teams to work with a manager who rated him and who's style suits his game.

That being said i sincerely hope he scores the own goal that relegates Falkirk and he gets absolutely hounded by Morton fans every time we play them.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Did you see the nick of him when he came on on Saturday?

He played for about 5 minutes after hardly kicking a ball for weeks, i'm not going to judge him on that performance.

You could pick out 5 minutes of absolute hilarity from just about every single player in the squad this season.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
