irnbru
Quitongo didn't score much but added a lot when fit. Hopefully a similar player to him that causes problems and has a bit of power and pace.

Livingston also signed a player from Maidstone this month, a midfielder named Liam Sole. Good luck to him, interested to see how this works out. Sole with the ball over the top for Lamar to race on and finish in the clip shared above.

Brian Skelton
1 hour ago, Ferguson said: Yeah fine with that. Dougie mentioned wanting more pace and end product from his wide players and that's a bit of a commodity up here, anyone he signed in that position was going to be a gamble anyway. Not been prolific but he's scored more league goals this season than Oakley did in the 3 seasons before joining us, worth a chance. So at a minimum we're still looking at potentially two new full backs and a centre half? Edited May 28 by LargsTON "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"
Mr.Blue
Happy with that. Garrity deserved a new deal. Hopefully he can really kick on next season. 17 minutes ago, LargsTON said: I'm guessing with Garrity, Bearne, Reynolds and Davies that may be our forward options sewn up? Hopefully a typical number 9 to come in as well I'd say we still need 2 fullbacks, 2 centre halves, 2 midfielders, keeper and a striker. With Mullen, Baird, Broadfoot, blues, Wilson, Gillespie, oboy, bearne, Garrity, Davies, Reynolds already signed that would take us to a squad of 19. Unless I've kissed anyone? I can't see us signing another 8 players tbh. Im hopeful Darragh will sign up again too. 1 "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

So at a minimum we're still looking at potentially two new full backs and a centre half? Surely not if the improved budget is to be believed? still at the bare minimum looking at a first choice right forward and an out and out number 9. We lost Quitongo, McGrattan, oakely and Muirhead and signed Reynolds (arguably Quitongo replacement) and Davies (Muirhead replacement) so still looking for the direct replacement for oakely and a stronger right sided option at least. could argue 2 forwards as Crawford was playing as a 10 so counted as part of the front 4. That could depend on how he sees Davies being used, maybe as the second striker? Or even how he sees Alex king being used, does he see him as a number 10 or as one of the two deeper midfielders? All remains to be seen.

Last season for those same front 3 positions we had Oakley, Muirhead, Bearne, Garritty, Quitongo, McGrattan and Boyd. Crawford and Blues also covered those positions at times. And the main failing of the squad was a lack of cover at centre forward. Even if King and O’Boy are earmarked for cover in any of those roles, we should still expect several further attacking additions. Davies is the only centre forward there and he was signed up before Oakley and Muirhead left, who were both offered deals.

HamCam
I would be surprised if we do not try to bring in a big number 9. Until Oakley did his Judas, I think Imrie was banking on George being the target man again.
Ferguson
Good news about Garrity and quite surprised it's a 2 year deal, but I'll be worried if that's our complete set of forwards for next season. With 4 forwards leaving I'll expect us to bring in another 2 yet, maybe one more versatile option with the pace Dougie's after and an Oakley replacement, someone like big Innes Cameron on loan wouldn't be a terrible shout. Madton
Think we will absolutely see another striker coming in. We knew Davies was coming in and still offered Oakley and Muirhead deals so Dougie will definitely want another forward IMO. Davies looks like he can play as number 10 so he might take the Crawford role potentially depending on if we can find another Oakley. Lost 5 attacking players and brought in 2 so I'm full expecting a couple more. We need a couple of headline signings to kick us on, get fans back on board and shift more season tickets. Raith did it last year and their season tickets and average crowd doubled from the year before. Looks like Ayr are giving it a go this year too.
