Why do you hate Falkirk?

Recommended Posts

If you've thought we've looked light in midfield at any point this season, take a look at this powderpuff lot.

Have to give a bit of credit to the Falkirk TV commentators because even in these snippets they're stating the very obvious: what the hell is happening in the middle of the park? Sliced open time and again. A midfield diamond will work alright against a team sitting back but against Airdrie with their tails up and coming forward they looked like lost boys.

Which is a terrible wee shame for them.

I’ll reserve a full blown laughing episode until full time in the 2nd leg, Airdrie aren’t great at keeping a clean sheet. Fingers crossed.

They haven't had a 0-0 since September 2021, which is pretty remarkable.

McGlynn's interview is as entertaining as the highlights.

Fucking priceless! Apparently results have nothing to do with shape and formation, hahaha, what a fanny.

McGlynn now consoling himself with the fact that according to 'statistics' wasn't a 6-2 game. Haha, what a fud.

He has branched out from claiming moral victories from winning on corners to the more general crosses into the box.

Loonball.

That's a bit unfair, here's an example of his footballing nous-

"We need to chase the game from the off – but we can’t really afford to concede. Every single time we do, it makes the task ever more difficult."

You can't buy that kind of insight.

1-0 Airdrie.

Falkirk only need five quick goals now.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

I find it hard to really hate something that provides so much entertainment and real schadenfreude.

Loved watching those highlights from midweek. Some laugh!

They would be aswell folding now. Cove coming down and hopefully Accies via playoffs in League 1 will make it a tough ask again. Would be nice to see them emptying McGlynn too just to top it all off!

Let's hope Airdrie finish the job and put that rabble Hamilton down.

That prick mcglynn needs to go after that surely?

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Hang on a minute. Falkirk are out now, Airdrie are no longer the good guys.

Be some trash Lanarkshire mob anyway which is good for us.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
