Another one of Hopkins duds. Wonder what he saw in him to bring him to cappielow. I thought he was awful.

Yes, he should have been called Rabid Omar.

Peter Grant Jnr takes interim charge of Queens Park after Laurie Ellis was sacked (presumably for only being 5 points and 3 league places ahead of relegation-twitchy League 1 nonentities Falkirk).

I would love them to get relegated.  Especially as they think that they're going to be financially doped all the way up the leagues.

No wonder they're circling the drain back to the Highland League.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

When they joined the SFL, I gather the HL was glad to be rid of them.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Sir Gavin playing at Stamford Bridge vs Chelsea. Finally found his level.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Given that I can't stand Newcastle United, this pleased me immensely.

Thanks for that CHC.

He was a great watch at a time when Cappielow was full of excitement. Strong, fit and the ability to finish clinically. Great days.

A thanks from me CHC. Remember being at school the day after that match and getting a report from one of the older lads who was at that match.

Seem to recall Morton had a Newcastle connection through Freddie Fletcher.

'Tufty' (Preben Arentoft) left Cappielow for Newcastle.

So did Archie Gourlay, Mark McGhee and Alex Mathie

So did Dennis Laughton, iirc.

Remember that Bartram hat trick. Game was over within ten minutes of kick off.
