TRVMP
Out of the two I'd keep Moffat. Lyle can get in the sea.
Greacen2000
I think Crawford is only on a 6 month deal so if this is true I would be expecting Telfer to take his place in the squad, and come into the starting XI ahead of Lyall.

I'd probably keep both - decent young players who are good in spells of games. Neither should start every week but if they can build some consistency into their games they'll come good. Lyall may learn something from Telfer. Think there's a decent midfielder in him, just need something or someone to crack it. At the moment he's coasting and making no attempt to hide it. TRVMP
I meant get him out of the lineup, not the squad, but tbh I'm not fussed if he hangs around or not.

RossMcC1874
No surpise didn't really get much game time and makes sense to move him on. Hopefully a few more join him and we can refresh and keep up the good momentum at the moment.
BishopBrennan
If we can move him and McGinn on, and use the wage to bring in another attacker to either backup or play alongside Stuparevic, I'd count that as a good window. 1 You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks! Tubes
Only other player on a short term deal that will be due up is Crawford I think? Would be keen to let him and Samuel’s both go and bring in another striker that can play through the middle. Stuparevic can easily play either side of another striker imo. Crawford was in the Tele saying he has 3 weeks to make a case but hasn't discussed signing extension so looks like he is here until end of January
Greacen2000
not surprised to see Samuels leave. At the time I thought it was a strange signing and it clearly hasn't worked out with him playing very few minutes, so I am happy for him to move on with my best wishes and hopefully make way for someone else 19 minutes ago, Tubes said: Only other player on a short term deal that will be due up is Crawford I think? I feel a bit more ambivalent about Crawfords future - he was miles off it in his first spell but looked decent in the games he has played this season and is probably an upgrade on Lyall at this stage so if he can prove his fitness I would be ok with him staying. If on the other hand there is another player available who would improve the team, I would be happy for us to part ways and free up another wage. I really hope that terminating McGinns loan is an option as he has brought nothing to the team and actually cost us a couple of times with sloppy passes & being caught in possession. As well as hopefully bringing in a couple of new signings in January, I would like to see us try and get some extensions done for key players in the backbone of the team because the list of players out of contract at the end of the season is pretty scary. IIRC we got a few extensions done last January so hopefully this is being looked at as well as strengthening

Can’t help but think that media work with Radio Scotland and Ferry and his pals is the main motivation for being in Scotland. Fuck knows what level he thinks that’s at.

DumfriesTon
Apparently us, Airdrie and East Fife are in for Ricco Diack on loan from Partick. Could be rubbish but was from a pretty good source…. I hope it’s nonsense. Edited January 9 by DumfriesTon

Has always looked like he offers Partick something a bit different when he comes off the bench. However, for patter I would love this to be a completely made up rumour that TransferScot on X picks up on and jumps at the chance to post about it. dunning1874
If Partick are loaning Diack out it won't be to another Championship club, and if it was it certainly wouldn't be to us where he'd be sitting on the bench behind Stuparevic. If he goes out on loan he'll be dropping down a division or two in order to start games, any attacking player we bring in is coming in as cover.
