RealTonKid
McGuffie scored as well. Darvel were done in at the end and just wanted the whistle. Decent cup run and a few quid in the coffers.

It's pure luck of the draw, but you'd think that luck will have to turn for us at some point. Over the last eight seasons in the Scottish Cup we've had Celtic away three times, Motherwell away twice, Rangers away once and St Johnstone away once, with four of those seven eliminations coming in the first round that Premiership clubs entered. Our other cup exit in that time was that tit Johansson losing at East Fife. We've had six all Championship ties over those eight years and won all of them. Bollocks to the financial argument of Celtic away. Give me a run to a semi-final without once facing a Premiership side, which gives a real chance of going all the way to a final. Ayr's run to a quarter final with Falkirk has been Pollok, Cove and Elgin, Falkirk's has been Wick, Alloa and Darvel. They could then potentially have the winner of Inverness v Kilmarnock in the semi. For those weirdly more interested in the financial side of things than seeing a lengthy cup run this would also make us far more money than a fourth round elimination at Parkhead, with the prize money of a semi-final on top of the split of the Hampden gate. 5 Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Ton in Shawlands
Looking at who we get in cups each year, I could be wrong but I think its been a whole since we've had Ross County away on a Tuesday night. That used to be as unavoidable as death, taxes & Dumbarton away (& postponed) at the start of the season.
Mr.Blue
Nicky low signs for Clydebank. Thanks Arbroath and Kelty in his tweet for allowing his to move closer to home.for family reasons. Would've been delightful to see him sign for us earlier in the season but now I'm not sure he's what we need. He also hasn't exactly set league 1 alight. Thoughts? AyrshireTon
Cameron Salkeld scores for Clyde to put them ahead against Peterhead. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..  So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
LargsTON
Will Sewell, a player I thought we should maybe have taken a punt on has returned to Largs Thistle from Stenny after being frustrated at lack of game time.  "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

port-ton
O'Ware and Tidser on the latest open goal podcast. No real revelations or much detail provided but was interested to hear O'Ware say he loved his time at the club and fucked his reputation when he left and regrets leaving the club and Tidser saying he needed a change in his life but knew within a few months at Falkirk that he should have stayed at us as well. 2 Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
TRVMP
Actually quite surprised to hear that from O'Ware. I didn't get the impression he liked being here or that he acknowledged he'd left on bad terms. Fair play to him for admitting it.
Toby
Think the main conclusion I can take from that is that Steve Evans is an absolute bell, but I doubt anyone would’ve contested that before watching the interview. Interesting to see O’Ware referring to the big bad Morton fans booing them off the park at half time when leading Queen of the South 3-0. When was this? Anyone got any ideas? The only time I remember having a resounding lead over them in that period was the 5-0 win at Palmerston the week before the semi final when we were all on cloud nine. I take it as a bit of a compliment that we’re a demanding bunch, but I’m absolutely calling bullshit on that one.
