vikingTON
Bring him home*. * to Blantyre Vics. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Scott
How the mighty has fallen. Get it up him He must feel very silly rejecting us and struggling to get a team whilst we've gone on to have a superb season so far.
Dunoon_Ton
He must feel very silly rejecting us and struggling to get a team whilst we've gone on to have a superb season so far. Defo near miss for us, put in a hell of a lot of work and ran about like a hamster, but talent wise he was mung "He's not the messiah........He's a very naughty boy!.............Now P*ss Off!" Mr Toon
Why he didn't re-sign remains a mystery. Jim Duffy obviously rated him enough to offer him a new contract and clearly he had no better offers. Neither we nor he will ever know how it would have worked out for him had he stayed but he must now realise that he made a big mistake.

He made a dig back in the summer about O'Ware signing an extension with us for a fiver a week, maybe he was offered less money? Either we he's made a right mess of it and ended up worse off. TaunTon
I don't think decision making was his strongest suit.
Cet Homme Charmant
Not quite as hilarious as the Monti debacle but pleasing nevertheless. Wouldn't be surprised if like Monti he was very badly advised by an amateurish Agent who couldn't deliver on pie-in-the-sky promises.
TRVMP
Stef played a key role in promotion and consolidation. I think his snide comments to ToW and the like were completely uncalled for and very petty behavior, but at the same time I still respect what Stef did while at Cappielow. The goal at Ibrox alone was truly memorable.

The goal at Ibrox alone was truly memorable. Indeed. If he'd politely declined the contract offer and simply said he wanted to continue his career elsewhere, he would have left with respect and credibility intact and like most Ton fans I would have wished him all the best. But the snide dig at a fellow professional left a very bad taste in the mouth and I'm loving the fact he's languishing in the seaside leagues when he could have played in a Hampden semi-final and be challenging for a Premiership play-off spot. Alibi
Stef is entitled to a free pardon on account of his goal at Ibrox. His departure has worked out better for Morton than it has for him without a doubt. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it." Showed his true colours with the comments re wages so fuck him. Hope he deeply regrets knocking us back and realises how much he's made a rip roaring cunt of it.
