It might also depend on whether Rangers see McCrorie as a future starter or second-choice, or if after Shagger's retirement they're going to go with Foderingham and someone else.

They’ve just signed Barrow’s 2nd choice goalkeeper and are after someone slightly better as well. Unsure what they’re playing at but I think they’ll try shift “England’s #1” on.

Good to have some positive news. The chances of McCrorie not being an upgrade on Scully are extremely small and we clearly needed more attacking options, so looking forward to seeing what they can offer.

I guess from the noise that JJ made in the latest video interview when asked about Denny's fitness that we are never going to see him in a morton strip this season again.

What did he say, exactly?

And before you tell me to watch it myself, I'm in a place I can't just stick a video with sound on.

Without watching it again to exactly quote him he mentioned he was out long term then when asked for more detail he started off with a visceral noise when asked then mentioned his knee was still collecting blood or something and that his knee doesn't have the stability at the moment.

A couple of people commenting every chance they get on Twitter to express their displeasure with the signings. One in particular saying we should not be a “SEVCO feeder club” and that the club will not be getting their money so long as we are. Interesting take on the concept of a “feeder club” that.

What a retard. No doubt has Celtic leanings.

It would not be the first time that “Morton” fans display a hatered of only one side of the old firm... would prefer if they could just afford the bus fare - the 2 signings are positive news - we need a Goalkeeper ( at least for cover A ideally he is first choice ) I hope he does well and we need a striker and the boy seems like he wants to prove something - what’s not to like

Just bounce if you hate St Mirren

I yield to nobody in my dislike of Therangers and all that they stand for, but the individuals who play for them, especially at the level of these guys, are not the club.  If they are good enough then I'm happy to see them here.  Few of them will go on to be first team regulars at Ibrox, so they are a source of players for the likes of us in future years.  Mind you we have had some dross from them - Barry McKay for example was a good player but totally uninterested.
