vikingTON Posted July 28, 2019 Author Posted July 28, 2019 Mooooooooooooooooove. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
dunning1874 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Too busy talking to that dick McPake then going to a break. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Chesh Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Away to hibs Im making perfect sense, your just not keeping up.My Twitter - https://twitter.com/RJChesh
dunning1874 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 At least it’s not Motherwell or the OF, but somewhere we’ve been relatively recently and not one we’re likely to win. Sad! Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Mr Toon Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 At least it’s not Motherwell or the OF, but somewhere we’ve been relatively recently and not one we’re likely to win. Sad! We've had some very decent results there in the not too distant past. Not likely to win is fair, but one we can give a real good go.
Jamie_M Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Not the best but could have been more boring. Fuck it, bring them on.
Chesh Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 They didn't look too impressive against Elgin on Friday night and were held to a 1-1 draw against Stirling at the start of the group stage. I dont think their attendances have been great so far this season at Easter road but perhaps with it being the last 16 and on a Saturday at 3pm (most likely)hopefully get around 8 or 9k. Im making perfect sense, your just not keeping up.My Twitter - https://twitter.com/RJChesh
Madton Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Aye, they had a very easy group and didn't exactly impress but no doubt be much better in a few weeks. Small chance of an upset, not too far away, decent crowd to make a few quid and could have been worse like County away. Hopefully we take a decent crowd through.
Alibi Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Beat them 4-3 last time we played them at Easter road in the league cup. Ryan Harding winner IIRC. And we did do them 3-0 in the league a few years ago. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it."
RealTonKid Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I know we couldn’t draw Hearts as runners-up, but I do find it odd that we’ve played Hibs, Edinburgh City and Spartans recently, but haven’t played Hearts in over 30 years.
AyrshireTon Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Beat them 4-3 last time we played them at Easter road in the league cup. Ryan Harding winner IIRC. And we did do them 3-0 in the league a few years ago. Our winner in that cup game came because Hibs had one of those keepers that palmed shots into the path of oncoming forwards.... McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
HamCam Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Our winner in that cup game came because Hibs had one of those keepers that palmed shots into the path of oncoming forwards.... Indeed but it all contributed to one of the best matches in recent years. The baiting of the Hibs support made for an excellent evening. Hibs away may not be the 'best' draw but it is a good away day and Hibs are beatable.
