vikingTON
Nope. Nobody is. Nobody is assessing Patrick Thistle here at all. The only assessment being made is that of Duffy and that he doesn't deserve a sniff at another current Championship team. When Patrick continue their slide and slip further down the levels, yes, fill your boots Jim. That's nonsense. Duffy will present himself as having taken a club out of the seaside leagues at the first time of asking, finishing midtable at this level and then being 'harshly' punted. A sideways move to another club at this level is entirely realistic for him off the back of that. Then he will get them relegated. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

That was pretty much the cut of his jib on sportsound on Friday evening. When asked what the the strengths of his cv were, he said Morton and, rather bizarrely, Clyde, which he saw as his greatest achievement in that he managed to reduce the wage bill. Lost count of the amount of times he extolled the virtues of 4141 and also how he liked pace in the wide areas, playing a counter attack. Aye, if counter attack is hoofing balls into channels. 20.1.

The deadlines for applications for the job was 36 hours ago - I doubt anyone has got a call back yet. Toby
I note that Bradford were beaten 3-1 at Accrington Stanley yesterday, a pretty torrid start to David Hopkin’s reign with 1 win, 2 draws and 6 defeats in his opening nine games. Coincidentally, not much has been seen of Colin Darroch on the forum recently.
vikingTON
Peroni sales in Halifax/insertshitholesatellitetownofBradfordhere will have gone through the roof though, so that's something. 2 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. vikingTON
I see from reading their shithole forum that Bradford fans are already complaining about the long ball football as well as their crap results. Here was me thinking - based on his assorted fluffers on here this summer - that this style was simply a pragmatic choice from 'Hoppy' at Livingston, before he would naturally unveil his swashbuckling attacking instincts at a bigger club. Malt
Good luck to Duffy is what I say. Took us to the playoff and Hampden and seems a decent guy. He gets the Partick job then good luck to him.

We’re Morton fans, not Jim Duffy fans. Hope he has a nightmare and they go down in the play offs, joining those peasants from Grangemouth in League One.
TRVMP
If he could go 20 minutes without mentioning how Morton are too wee and too poor I'd be a lot better disposed towards him.

GiGi
If he could go 20 minutes without mentioning how Morton are too wee and too poor I'd be a lot better disposed towards him. He'd probably refer to Morton as a behemoth from the west run by wealthy backers who he couldn't possibly compete with. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
Popular Post Scott
Mark Russell on the receiving end of a 4-0 pumping from Aberdeen reserves today. Team included quite a few first team players. Glad his big move is going so well.
HamCam
Interesting that despite all the opportunities since his sacking Duffy has yet to secure another position - his media mates must think the world is against him. Oh well, when McLeish gets punted Duffy, once again, will be a shoe-in for the Scotland job.
axeman
Well Duffy didn't get the Partick Thistle job, Gary Caldwell appointed with Brian Kerr as assistant. I'd love to have you both for dinner
