Match Preview/Thread - Raith Rovers vs Morton

Partick 3-3 now

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Happy with that. Two key players out injured, two early bookings and we kept them pretty restricted.

Raith can say they had their own rotation (e.g. benching Vaughn) but I think we were slightly the better side and deserved the point.

Great point and a clean sheet on the road. Was a really competitive game with little in terms of clear chances. I thought we looked the better side for large parts of the game.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

Pleased with that. Would’ve taken a shite 0-0 before kick-off and that’s exactly what happened.
Well done to the management team and squad for getting us to 16 games unbeaten.

That’s a decent result. Don’t think either keeper had a save worthy of the name. We looked the better team and defended well. Lack of an Oakley meant we were somewhat toothless. Quitongo either isn’t match fit or injuries have caught up with him.

Commentator was scrupulously fair. Picture quality very good too, better than ours where the camera mounting always seems to be slightly shaky. Multiple cameras too which is useful.

Let’s hope we get our injured players back for Saturday. Will be interesting to see if Mullen gets his place back. Macdonald did fine but imho Mullen is better.

Pity we couldn’t sneak a winner with Partick losing. Airdrie and Ayr made up ground on us. Still in our own hands though and the run continues.

Would have taken that result before the game. Keeps momentum and the unbeaten run going.

What is worth noting is that the last 3 games we have played without Oakley has resulted in three 0-0 scorelines with quite limited chances created. Come to think of it, have we won a game in which he hasn’t been involved this season? Hope his injury isn’t too bad as he is so crucial to the way we play. Same goes for big Wilson, who was excellent again until he had to go off.

Power my motm tonight, sensational display.

Special mention to Jamie McDonald tonight who was clearly carrying an injury and struggled on the whole game. Don’t think he was tested the whole game tbf, came for a few crosses but could see there was an issue with his kicking.
