I've no issue with applauding the effort of the team - they were worth at least a point tonight, despite the early set back of Kilday's free gift. By all means heap the abuse on JJ etc, they deserve every bit of it for the state we are in. Was interesting to hear a fan refer to other Morton fans as "arseholes" for applauding at FT. Get a grip FFS. Â As for the game - I'm assuming that was better then Saturday (which thankfully, I missed). After we scored Ayr were rattled and only really threatened once with the effort which came off the post. Had Buchanan's earlier error let them go 2-0 up then it would definitely have been game over. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
