Alloa seem capable of appointing good quality managers.

Hartley left for compensation, Jack also and Goodwin will move on.

How many Morton Managers have generated money for the club...One and he fucked off after 4 games.

How can Alloa identify such good up and coming managers yet we get dross like JJ, Jim McInally, Dave McPherson etc

We've been by far the worst team in the league since JJ came in. It's a disgrace he hasn't been emptied and given the team a boost to try stay up.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

But it's not his fault it's the players....isn't it JJ?!

After 6 weeks of JJ being in charge it was clear that he didn't have a clue what he was doing. At that point many wanted him gone before we... well, before we ended up exactly where we are!

It has been a complete stuff up by Rae/Hawke... and they have been too stubborn/blind to make the blatantly obvious change that was needed.

Most of the pundits on the radio are now expecting us to go down. As has been said elsewhere, if we don’t win either of the next two then we’ll likely be bottom and will stay there.

Before the Alloa game it was hard to believe that we could end up below them and F*lk*rk, but that’s the way it’s looking,

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

What a thick prick this boy really is. Any chance he can text Tumilty again to ask the manager to unstick his arse from our bench and just do one all together.

This is the fucking shite we’re stuck with? Some charlatan having a Twitter love in with some spice boy from Falkirk, a team that will potentially send us down? Brilliant.

On the one hand, it's professional sport - they're playing for a wage, not for the Corinthian love of the game, nor for the badge on the jersey. But on the other, you'd expect a bit more discretion. Send him a text or a DM if he's your mate, don't basically flaunt the fact that all the young guys who play lower-league football have more loyalty to each other than to the clubs who employ them and the fans who pay to watch. Even if it's true.

But above all else it just speaks once again to JJ's judgement. A guy who apparently isn't very good, doesn't really get picked for the team, and sticks his foot in his mouth online, is so far our flagship signing for next season.

That'll have them lining up around the block, Warren!

Exactly. Not very clever. Falkirk fans seeing a current Morton player liking a tweet etc just further compounds our joke outfit status.

You'd think someone would have told them that we're playing some sublime stuff and building for the future. How dare they believe their lying eyes?

I swear the 13-14 campaign wasn’t even as miserable as this, at least that was funnier.

Probably because by now we'd accepted our fate and could get on with other stuff like trying to crash Dundee's promotion bus.

Well no, not actually - if we merely draw our game next Saturday then we can’t possibly be bottom of the table after our next two games, win against Inverness or lose. That’s just how a league table works.

Between that nonsense ‘likelihood’ and the view of whatever roasters were on Sportsound/Super Scoreboard now being passed off as sage judgment, it’s clear that we’re going to need a double load on to deal with all the knickers being drenched on this cesspool of a forum.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

You've been since Christmas there's zero chance we're getting relegated or be involved in the dogfight. Even as recently as Tuesday you were thinking Alloa beating us would be for the greater good.

Don't think you're in any position to roast anyone's predictions as "sage judgement" tbh
