Pleased with that. Seems to have been highly rated at Queen's. Not sure what happened at Dunfermline.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

A central midfielder. Glad Imrie has identified the need to strengthen in there.

Aye if we were only getting one in, it had to be there.

Happy with that one. Rated highly amongst QOTS & Dunfermline fans, just unlucky with injuries. Keep him fit and we’ve got a player.

Not sure where that leaves Jacobs future now.

Fitness appears to have been the issue. If he can get up to fitness soon then he is exactly the type of player we've lacked in the middle of the park. If it doesn't work out so quickly, then it's still cover until the end of the season and we aren't on the hook long term.

A much better move than getting an unproven regen from England.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Very happy with that, if he can stay fit he's exactly the type of player the midfield is missing and gives us options to change things in there now.

We still need to either add a goalkeeper or even just trust Bysouth to sit on the bench in case something happens to Hamilton during a game, but it's been a decent window with Brandon and Wilson coming in. One player who has definitely improved the starting XI and another who probably will if he's fit, who'll be a solid cover option at worst.

Ideal. Sits on bench incase Hamilton gets injured or sent off during a game. Won't be on much. Was always the worry that Hamilton got injured a few minutes into an important game.

If Hamilton gets a serious injury, bring in an emergency loan.

The probability of that did not match the shrieking there has been about it.

Still, better to have someone and a youth is the right budgetary decision.

  • 2 weeks later...

Happy to get youngsters tied up and excited to See how they develop under Imrie.

Hopefully can get a few first team players signed up if we pick up some more points in the coming few games.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
