Both teams shite. 2 goalkeeping errors. We played better in the second Half. Fair result.

Does that go down as a good one or a bad one with regards to how we are likely to fare next week with our inconsistency?

Poor wee Falkirk throwing a 2 goal lead away at home to Alloa to return to bottom was nice.

We lack any real quality but you can't fault the players effort to get back in to the game in that second half.

Robert Thomson especially, given his limited ability and lack of game time did absolutely everything that could be expected of him and had absolutely run himself in to the ground by full-time.

The point papers over a few grand canyon wide cracks but still a decent point and a bit of pride back for the players, but we've been here before too many times this season not to expect more humiliation in the coming weeks.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Thomson needs to time his jumps better. He goes up far too early, and by the time the balls near him he’s fucking on his feet again.

Came away from that a bit disappointed not to take 3 points so shows the improvement in the second half after a nightmare 1st 45. JJ clearly got a reaction at half time which is positive at least, we looked much better!

Still can't believe Tumilty touched the ball when it was practically in.

Credit must go to big Thomson. Gets a fair bit of abuse from all of us but thought he won headers, held the ball up well and put some shift in himself against an aggressive back 2.

Thought Millar had a great second half and Buchanan was solid throughout.

Tidser seemed to sit deep a lot which is infuriating. Would have liked to have seen him much further forward.

Thought they were really quite shite considering the run they were on before last weekend, expected better. Gaston had feck all to do for the vast majority.

Go and beat that shower next week and it will have been a decent 4 points.

Quite happy and surprised to see a point all things considered: it needs to be followed up by absolutely fucking bodying those scum next week. No excuses, no mitigating circumstances or ‘bad days at the office’ will do: hound them or. fold the club and starr again from the North Caledonian League.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Must be bad to be worse than Tiffoney who's only with us a few days. If he really was doing so little, you'd imagine he'd be booted back to Motherwell rather than let him negatively affect the team.

He’s probably there to fill a space on the bench and be the last resort before we turn to the youth ringers: we don’t have the squad depth (particularly with our injuries in forward positions) to ship a player out without a replacement.

We can safely presume he’ll be going back to Motherwell in January though - couldn’t care less where he goes afterwards tbh.

Not much to add other than the cowardice shown by JJ towards the end of the match by refusing to commit Buchanan forward for our late corners. We're at home to a s*** United side, not the 1980s version.

From memory it was only a long McKeown throw in the corner he didn't allow Buchanan up for. As soon as it went out for a corner seconds later McKeown and Millar stayed back and he went up for it.

I think you're right but it was after much deliberation!
