Gaston - 7. Couple of great saves but some terrible distribution.

Doyle - 6. Solid until he went off.

Kilday - 7. Couple of shakey moments early on but solid throughout.

O'Ware - 8. An SPL centre half.

Lamie - 7. Defensively solid and worked his socks off.

Forbes - 6. Great shift but final ball lacking from Forbinho

Lindsay - 9. Lungs like a hot air balloon

Murdoch - 10. Incredible shift and some absolutely lovely footwork under pressure.

Russell - 7. Decent stuff in both positions. Didn't look out of place in either.

Tidser - 10. Ladies and Gentlemen, Michael Tidser.

Nesbitt - 9. Best performance in a Morton shirt.

McDonagh- 7. A performance to be proud of for the donut.

Nobody gets a ten unless they score 5 goals or something special, especially not when they're in the losing team.

Yes they do, if they put in a standout performance against a team paid easily 10x as much as the one they're playing in. Michael Tidser, for example, was the best player on the park at Ibrox today.

Him or Murdoch probably were, still can't give him a ten.

Ratings are subjective, but I agree, 10/10 is two goals in the Champions League final kind of thing.

I thought Murdoch started slowly but really came into it as the game went on. If there's a hope in hell of us having him and Tidser next season - I assume the loanees are write-offs - we'll be in good shape regardless of our division.

Eh, no they weren't. Barrie McKay was clearly MotM.

Well he ****in should'nt have been anywhere near it. Tidser was head and shoulders above that wee w*nker.

Unless it's a total Maradona performance it's always going to go to the home team.

Maybe nacho but we both no it should'nt have been anywhere near that wee knob

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see McKay strapped to the wing of a vintage biplane, and that biplane ditched into the northern reaches of the Atlantic Ocean. I recognized his talent from day one and it's an absolute stain on his manky wee character that he didn't bother his arse while at Morton. But I can see why the assembled Sevconians chose him.

Tidser's finish is OOOOFT. Absolute belter of a goal, brilliant technique.

Sum boi. Didn't fully appreciate just what a belter it was at the time.

Fuck sake, Nesbitt and Donnelly. We could have had a replay.

I don't understand the bad feeling towards McKay from most Morton fans, he was far from our worst player that season, and scored in a couple of wins for us.

He had the ability for all to see, but absolutely no effort and heart for a relegation fight. Seemed to think he was better than us and didn't bother his arse.

Absolutely correct. One hard tackle and he hid for the rest of the game when he was with us. So frustrating when he clearly had the ability!

McKay was impressive today it has to be said, was Rangers best player against Celtic not that long ago as well. Not quite worth however many million the Sevconians & Daily Record think he is, but he's a very talented footballer. Shame he's a complete wank though.

Lol wut

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
