McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. Popular Post vikingTON
Ray 'Ray' McKinnon slumps to a 1-0 defeat at lowly, managerless Elgin City, who pull level on points with his Forfar 'cracks'. Looks like the prick will be back on the Lochee taxi runs soon. 1 6 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

TRVMP
It was last week but Kyle Jacobs is one of the players affected by the near-collapse of Edinburgh City. Their senior squad is down to 13 players, many of whom are recent youth promotions. They have just two midfielders and one striker. Aidan McAdams somehow escaped the purge and remains as one of three goalkeepers.

I wonder what the chances are of Edinburgh City failing to complete their fixtures this season? My Twitter feed seems to be full of lower league clubs signing up all their players. Would be just typical if their demise was to save Clyde from the Lowland League, but on a positive note, Hamilton dropped points to them earlier in the season, so if results were annulled, it could rein in Falkirk.

The Bewilderedbeast
A bit obscure here.... Former goalkeeper Jim Herriot (1976 - 77) was apparently the inspiration for the name of the Vet, James Herriot, in the All Creatures Great and Small book series. The author was a Vet but regulations at the time prevented Vets from advertising, seems he was watching a football match on TV where Herriot was playing and he chose the name from there. Awaiting sarky comments. Edited December 21, 2023 by The Bewilderedbeast

Herriot was playing for Birmingham against Man U. "I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it."
