dunning1874
That’s a big win, full time at Firhill as well. We need to build on this next week and give ourselves a cushion again, but this is hopefully a sign of what’ll happen when we have Cadden and Nesbitt on the pitch at the same time. The Bewilderedbeast
Hopefully that’s the away monkey off our backs. Merry Christmas to all (except in Paisley, Grangemouth, and anyone associated with the Ugly Sisters)
vikingTON
A deserved win based on the improved performance after Cadden’s opener, before that goal from nothing it could have gone either way. We look a far more dangerous team with Cadden in the side and would be transformed by just adding a good centre forward in the transfer window (with McHugh as an inferior backup). Let’s make sure we’re not still in the same division as those Royston Vasey inbreds next season. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

AyrshireTon
Alloa's highlights. Edit - 8:30 mark for the two goals if you can't be arsed with the full clip. http://youtu.be/cgsQLaRQh8o McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. TRVMP
Some hit from our very own Saint Nick. And he started the move, too. Very well put-together goal. For both teams, attacks seemed almost universally to come down the side otherwise, lots of balls flashed across goal early on (and nobody there to stick them away...) Alibi
Goal of the season. dunning1874
Goal of the century. Excellent stuff, and aside from the wonderstrike it’s good to see us putting dangerous crosses in. We shouldn’t get carried away on a performance against the side bottom of the league and it’s worth acknowledging the horrible defending when we actually scored from a cross, but you can clearly see the attacking threat when Nesbitt & Cadden are on. Toby
I did see a point about the goal on Twitter- it’s been shared by Alloa and had at that point about 60,000 views. It’ll be well over that by now. Why on earth Morton weren’t quick off the mark to be sharing it, with sponsorship on the video, I’ll never know. Well, we do all know, but that’s another debate.
