Gunning was inspirational during his time here and in no game was he more influential than the last derby when he led the team with 10 men.

 

Anyone who watched Morton this season would agree he's been a huge loss.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

We would absolutely welcome Gunning back with open arms if the possibility were to arise. His partnership with Sir Tam of O'Ware would be by far the best in the Championship and could be one of the Premier's strongest in the event of promotion.

 

I would hate to see him end up somewhere like Killie or Hibs...

Fred may (allegedly) be a snake but that's quite the career he's made for himself. A pretty stunning rise for that club, too. They made their second division debut last season and their top flight debut the year after, and now they're Cup winners as well.

What explains the rise? Do they have a lot of money behind them?

They have Fred :)

 

Fred was a big part of it, but there was someone even more important that was at the forefront of it.
