Aye bizarre 'resting' a guy that has such serious fitness issues. If indeed that's the reason he's not playing. "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

I don't know. I was talking about this last week and I thought it would be really difficult to get his fitness up to anywhere near where it needs to be while also trying to put in a performance on a Saturday. He could've done with a week of pretty intensive training this week which would've left his legs struggling for today. If it was match sharpness or getting up to the pace of the game he was struggling with then he absolutely should be playing, but he looks like he needs to start with the first two weeks of a 1980s style pre-season.
dunning1874 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Finally 1-0. Garrity literally stumbling it over the line sums it up but thank christ. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
Mr.Blue Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Hearing a wee stramash and a couple of red cards handed out including one for delaney. Imrie had to intervene and break it up There's a storm on the horizon And for that I can't see the sun For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement For the ice cream van to come

This. Far too simplistic to say he's not fit = he should be playing.
Boogs49 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 That's Delaney suspended for Queens Park game and next Challenge Cup game (if we get through)

A Cowdenbeath coach has also been shown a yellow card

AyrshireTon Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Thank feck. LOL at Partick, losing 3-1 to Alloa. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
Boogs49 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Scott Taggart gets a 3rd for Alloa to make sure Partick no longer take part in this Cup

Boogs49 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Falkirk lose on penalties to Stenhousemuir, what a wee shame
Hightide Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 4 shots on target to their 2. Looking forward to hearing Dougie tell Garriff we had enough chances to win 4 games and on another day it could have been 3 or 4.
Deego Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 What’s the sketch with the players missing? Gillespie, Wilson, Baird… Did King play left back?
Tink Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 16 minutes ago, Deego said: What’s the sketch with the players missing? Gillespie, Wilson, Baird… Did King play left back? We played Mullen Blues Ballantine Boyes Delaney King Lyall Moffat Crawford Garritty McGinn (I think - at times we looked to be playing a back 3 with Blues at right midfield, at other times King or Lyall were in the attacking 3.)

Easily a red for me.
