EanieMeany
Is Nesbitt’s injury long-term? He said in yesterday's Tele that it's "just" a hand injury and that he hopes to make the Dundee United game, although that might be just too soon. No indication that he was out long-term, which means we have Nesbitt, Cadden, Orsi, Salkeld, Colville and King all in contention for wide places. Meanwhile, we do not have a right-back and we've seen Robbie Muirhead playing at left-back already. Great stuff. AWMSC
Hej
Speaking to gmfc.net, the Ton boss showed his delight at bringing Billy to Cappielow: “Billy has had a full pre-season and had been offered a contract at Falkirk with whom he’d been training with. “He wished to play at a higher level though..." rex manning
Can we seriously not find a right back? I want a pretentious signature too.
vikingTON
Can we seriously not find a right back? Quite clearly not, it's not as if the market is awash with affordable, Gianluca Zambrotta types that we're bizarrely overlooking at the moment. Doesn't mean that this signing makes much sense either though, our squad appears to be taking on a bit of a Football Manager dynamic. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
dunning1874
What this squad needed was definitely another winger. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake

Mr.Blue
A bit off topic but I see that the academy has new strips that are made by joma. Wondering if it's a sign of things to come? You wonder why the sponsors bother when we all know the kids’ll be cutting about with 3 year old clobber with Millions plastered across it in a couple of months time anyway. TRVMP
I hope not, Joma have had some shocking efforts in recent years. One thing I'll say for Joma is that their kits last. Or at least used to. I have a Getafe top from the Copa del Rey final in 2007, have worn it at least monthly in that time for the gym, and other than a slight fade on the sponsor it's in superb condition. port-ton
King signing makes the Orsi signing even more bizarre. No harm signing him until January to see what he brings to the squad. TRVMP
King signing makes the Orsi signing even more bizarre. No harm signing him until January to see what he brings to the squad. It's high time we mutually consented Orsi, he's plainly never going to fit into the team. He could be as low as sixth choice for his natural position. There are Chelsea youths with a better chance at a starting place than him.
