HamCam Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Even if you are too young to remember there are some clues. I only got 12 . http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hibs/quiz-name-the-scottish-football-grounds-1-4446188
Cet Homme Charmant Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 17. Which proves I'm both old and a geek. Yay me!
TRVMP Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 16. I got the Celtic one wrong because I wasn't paying attention The lower league ones were actually easiest IMO. Station Park doesn't look much different, Shawfield is unmistakable, and of course our own ground has several identifying features...
HamCam Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 In my defence, I was looking at it on a mobile . Imagine the complaints getting in the ground at 2.55pm on a Saturday with those crowds .
TaunTon Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Can't ever remember Powderhall being used for football.
dunning1874 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 13, with some lucky guesses. The only ones I knew straight away were Cappielow, Palmerston, Tynecastle, Station Park and Hampden. Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
TaunTon Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Edinburgh City (the first incarnation) played there. Must have passed me by that one. Only remember it as a dog track.
Scott Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Got 14. Can't believe I didn't recognise Station Park The large crowd at Cappielow almost threw me..
Davie McArthur Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 16 for me although I guessed at a couple. That picture of Cappielow is amazing. MARTY OUT!!!!!
LinwoodTON Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 17 with a few guesses. <span style='font-size: 14px;'><em class='bbc'>"That LinwoodTon's a c*nt, eh?"</em></span>
Deano1874 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 10, I'm far too young for this quiz. 26/4/18 A Decade of Wakeism.
HamCam Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 10, I'm far too young for this quiz. I would just like to thank you though for your efforts - second bottom is better than being the Ayr of the quiz.
Toby Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 21, although I'd read some of the comments on here which helped. Quite annoyed with myself getting Brockville and Dens park wrong. I thought the covered terrace at Brockville might have been the part of Tannadice where the Fair Play stand is now. No excuses for Dens, where the Shed still stands.
Guest capitanus Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 One of the grounds I didn't get was Cathkin Park, which is easily understandable. It looked like a great ground though - had an English look about it.
