Dunning was at Shinedown as well, maybe he'll give his thoughts.

We managed to get in four from the front, was actually more space down there than back in the squash zone where he was standing!

I was near enough the same area, I found a guitar pick on the floor but lost it :(.

hoping for a nice lineup tomorrow for the v fest. falls at a favorable weekend for me, so i would like to try and get a day ticket. if not the v festival then maybe reading/leeds which is the next weekend i believe. anyone ever been to either? i know they aren't as highly rated as t in the park or glastonbury, however i can't imagine i could go wrong with a good lineup and just a day ticket? hoping for the stone roses as i doubt they will be doing much in america, especially florida. also noel.

leeds is a poor excuse of a festival, past couple of years has had dodgy sound quieet in areas thats not on with todays technology. not very big, but then again im a grumpy ole fool who does glastonbury, but if your lookng at commercialism at its best, a tenner to buy a line up guide? and all that cheesy s***, then it could be for you. having said that i had a braw night last year at 2 many djs, death from above were magnificent.,, pity about sound during pulp and seasick steve, guns and roses i had to leave. i work it most years i would refuse to pay for this over priced rubbish with no entertainment after hours.

anyways, gigs coming up... i got lambchop at oranmor, parov stelar band somwherere in london and the BOSS in June manchester. :)

Guns n Roses were good, but the best part of the show was NOFX. Blood and Whiskey were excellent in the rock tent. Sadly Andrew Lawrence started the day on a downer, what a s*** comedian.

Why would anyone pay that? We just asked to see someone's guide...

blood and whiskey are good aint they, seen them supporting SLF a few years back.

Lambchop in the oran mor was phenomenal even tho someone "shhhh'd " us, :)

parov stelar and his band is in the koko in london end of may, looking fwd to it, it looks an impressive venue with good reviews apart from the drink prices in cambden. its the look fwd to gig for me at the moment.

aye i hear you, i didnt buy and wouldnt buy a guide.. shouldnt have to ask anyone, you should be handed the times schedules etc for all stages on the way in, but it would kill a nice ,money maker which is what it is not giving you the info.

17th march has a balkanarama? night in a place called chamber69 in glasgow, i have never been or heard of this venue before. one of the four bands on are Tako Lako, not sure of thier country of origin, but a band we came across down at glastonbury that got the crowd going crazy, could be worth checking out.

Bob Dylan just announced for festival I'm going to in the summer - delighted with that!

I'd pay maybe £50 to Dylan and the Stone Roses but there's nothing else on that line-up I'd be interested in. Definitely looks like a main stage event, and only assuming those two acts are on the same day... there's no way that should be a four day festival!

You must have different tastes from me then - apart from them I'll be trying to see: new order, noel Gallagher, atdi (another big reunion that will get a big crowd), Bombay bicycle club, Bat for lashes, cooper, crystal castles, the horrors, Macabees, Miles Kane and the vaccines as well as another few of the smaller bands.

With the first night not having a full bill I'd much rather pay 150 for that in the sun that 200+ for t in the park or the likes!

I saw the Maccabees support the Editors in 2009. They were very good.

Not a bad line-up for a festival.
