Alter Bridge were great as usual, playing Glasgow (their favourite city to play, he's said this before in interviews) on Miles birthday instead of first on the tour as normal. Slight technical fault during a duelling axes session meant they went a bit longer than their set was due.

Black Stone Cherry were brilliant, much better than when they played a wee tent in front of 100 people in Hyde Park!

The biggest surprise was how bloody good Theory of a Deadman were live, and a fantastic sing-a-long rendition of JJ Cale's Cocaine went down a treat as an early set warm-up!

Got a ticket for BSC when they play the Academy in March, only £20 after fees/postage. :)

Forgot to post on here, but the 'Justice' night @ the ABC on Dec. 10th was superb, culminating with Mick Jones, Pete Wylie, & The Farm doing 'All Together Now', followed by a riotous version of 'Janey Jones'!!!

anybody know when they usually start announcing the other artists for t in the park?

Is it not usually around the time that the final tickets go on sale, around February before many bands are announced. The headliners may be known earlier though...

Looking forward to two (two in a row) Celtic Connections gigs on 24th and 25th this month. First up are New Orleans sounds with the Aaron Neville Band and Cedric Watson, then it's 'Woody at 100' with, amongst others, Jay Farrar, ex Uncle Tupelo (precursor of Wilco) and Son Volt.

Really looking forward to it.
