Squad and transfers 2019/20

It's just a wee shame that your sentence doesn't actually make any sense though; not least because an adjective like gubbins is qualified by an adverb (e.g. 'absolutely') and not another adjective.

Better luck next time champ.

Very good

It's hard to imagine that you only got a 'B' for Higher English.

‘Imagine’ being the operative word in that abysmal failure of a contribution.

Swing and a miss.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Player contracts now run to the middle of June and the new registration of players only started earlier this week - there’s a backlog of deals waiting to be registered. Clubs can announce agreements with players before then but they’re not officially signed until their registration changes with the SFA.

It will be interesting to see, with our new managerial team and their contacts how well we do with loans this season. A couple of good players coming in that way could make a huge difference to the quality of our squad.

Was listening to Mcelhone's interview on that rocks sport radio and really liked the sound of him. If he can get what he wants done across to the players then at a bare minimum we will have an extremely hard working and fit team that give everything with hopefully a wee bit of quality sprinkled in.

At one point he said we have a part time playing budget even though we are full time, and even teams like Alloa and Arbroath may have a bigger budget than us and they would be able to compete for the top part time players because they aren't full time like us.

I do believe that we are closer to a part time budget than we are to the likes of the Dundee clubs and Inverness etc but I can't believe that we are on a level budget wise with the likes of Alloa considering some of the players we've got in our squad.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

I'd heard some players new deals were effectively half of what they were on last season so I could believe it's true.

I wish people involved with the club would stop banging on about how poor and hard done by we are every time there's a microphone in front of them. They're asking people for £300 for a season ticket and also trying to lean on punters to cough up an extra £120 a year (at least) for some dubious scheme on top of strips etc, so stop saying how shite it's going to be.

Morton desperately, desperately needs some kind of PR person to get a grip of the image the whole club gives off from top to bottom. It's pathetic.
