Who Is Next?

What about Robbie Neison, assuming we could get him.

Before he was Hearts manager he was being talked about within the club as a potential manager here. No idea what they are thinking now - or where he sees himself getting back in - but could be an outside bet.

Getting a club that hasn’t been to the top league in over 30 years might look good on someone’s CV. If we tell any potential candidate that we want to win the league then that may interest the likes of Neilson etc.

"This must include synergy with meeting our ambitions of challenging for promotion to the top tier, investing and developing our highly-talented young players and supporting our award-winning community initiatives".

A target? What is this voodoo.

Robbie Neilson is above most top flight jobs, never mind Morton.

Really? What kind of level do you think he can go back into?*

Bagged from a club who were at that point in the relegation places in League 1 ( and went on to get relegated)

Can't see an English Championship/League 1 team take a punt on him after that, at least not before he proves himself again at another club.

* Not saying us btw, but surely a Scottish Prem team would be a decent level for him.

The club have spoken. Challenging for promotion is the aim. Get a good manager in and there could be a large number of people who will decide to buy season tickets/come along more often.

100% correct this close season is going to have to be massive to entice stay away fans back.

Obviously the important bits are still to come, but it's a good start.
