dunning1874
Neil Macfarlane assistant manages fleetwood to safety in league 1 on the other hand. Always a shame to see Pressley doing well, but there's a far more important factor for us here: Fleetwood staying up means there's a fair chance of McManus going out on loan again. If they are not looking to include him in their squad for this season, they'll probably look to move him on permanently. *insert signature here*
GiGi
Sign him on a 10 year contract. I'll pre order the 'Decade of Dece' highlights package. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
stuart
Went to shettleston match tonight and was standing near Peter Weatherson who is taking over as manager. I think he is intending to play as well, he will score 40 odd goals next season I would think. Also think he maybe try to get a few former morton or annan teammates into the side as well. BluebirdTon
If Alex Williams signs for Shettleston I'll be getting a season ticket... if that's possible... The Ton Survived & Your Pipe Dream Died 18th September 2014

vikingTON
BBT to 'do a Zhivago' and figuratively tear up that season ticket pledge in May, IMO. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
Jamie_M
Mr 'can't be arsed, won't really bother, don't want to be here so shouldn't have came in the first place' Barrie McKay called up to the Scotland squad. He has had a decent season to be fair but still.
TRVMP
He is clearly and obviously a very good player, just with a bad attitude. If a manager/club/team can get the best out of him, they're on to a winner.
BluebirdTon
Scotland are pathetic and won't make it to a major tournament for at least another generation. The Ton Survived & Your Pipe Dream Died 18th September 2014
TRVMP
Now that the Euros is 24 teams we'll sneak in by default one day. Hard to see us getting to a World Cup anytime soon right enough.
Popular Post vikingTON
It's refreshing btw to see Weatherson do the right thing, start his new profession at the bottom and presumably seek to work his way up from there at some point in the future. I hope it works out very well. He can certainly take some inspiration from the ex-pro who started off managing Lochee United a decade ago and has just been appointed manager of Dundee's biggest club. It's a far cry from the time-honoured, snake tactics more often used to advance a managerial career, like 'have your ex-player mates in the punditry tout you as a 'highly respected youth coach' (see McInally, J.). Or continue on as 'senior', completely useless members of the playing squad waiting for the opportunity to knife the incumbent and take over (Grady, J; McManus, A.). Or apply on the delusional belief that no credible management experience whatsoever qualifies you to run a Championship-level club, fail as caretaker, take the huff when not appointed manager, leak stories to your mates and flounce off in disgust. And then get relegated and universally panned at Livingston anyway (I think Dr. Zhivago knows the answer to this one). Funnily enough those approaches always seem to end in abysmal failure. Deego
Sean Crighton signs for Livingston. Had a look but couldn't see anything, where's this reported? Decent move for him. Is 'Hoppy' keeping his job for next season then?
