Well, possession given away woefully by Millar... and they go up the park and score. Great contribution.

Something that has never been said to you in all your time posting on this forum, you insufferable f*ckwit.

No wonder your weans hate you.

Apparently Kiltie was spewing at half time but carried on anyway. Boys a player btw.

****ing sickener to concede so late again. Feels like a defeat. I’m all for people noting a better performance, but that’s a ****ing terrible result again for us tonight and clapping it off the park is a right rid neck. Those 2 points would’ve probably seen us safe from any relegation worries.

Not securing the win given the circumstances is a bit of a sickener but to describe a point against a team in the promotion playoffs as a ‘fucking terrible result’ sums up the knicker-wetting drivel that is all over this place at the moment. It’s another point on board, brought about by a performance that if matched would see us win on Saturday against a far poorer team. So it’s a result that wasn’t worth applause nor your shrieking meltdown either.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Absolutely gutted.

First half we looked good and dangerous and deserved our lead. Iredale was causing problems, Oliver was holding the ball up and Tids was pulling the strings. Great finish by Lyon.

After the glorious chance at the start of the second, we sat too deep! They never created much but the constant pressure was a real concern! Feels like a defeat.

Improved performance but still 1 win in 13 and JJ shouldn't be in a job!

Saturday is going to be either glorious or absolutely brutal.

The radio pundits where saying we shouldn't play Tidser on Sat, Why the feck not? He is a paid employee of Morton and should put a shift in regardless of the opposition until he leaves! If JJ rests him, it will be madness!

You probably had him at fault for their first aswell 👍🏻

Nope, but his mistake cost us three points tonight.

Worth noting, the last time Morton scored more than 1 goal in a home match... in an excellent attacking performance against Patrick Thistle, one regular midfielder was missing - guess who??

Tonight’s first half was the best since then... and again that same key midfielder wasn’t on.

It was Scott Mcdonald and Leanne Crighton.

The case for the prosecution rests.

Meanwhile, outside of Radio Scotland’s incisive analysis and hindsight judgments, there was very little different between the performance this evening and the one that earned a ‘deserved’ 2-1 win against Ross County in January. Inverness got a lot of the ball in the second half but created few chances. While we weren’t defensively perfect, the idea that we just needed to push higher up the park - giving the likes of Doran ten yards of space behind our defenders - isn’t as straightforward a solution as it seems. In reality we got away with the same strategy in the Ross County game and ‘deserved the win’; Inverness scrambled a late goal out of very little serious pressure this evening and so it was apparently a clearly predictable disaster. I’m far from president of the TTGJ Fan Club but you can’t have it both ways here. If you’re going to give credit for the first game then you simply have to accept tonight as the other likely outcome of that strategy.

The better Tidser plays, the more likely he is to be relegated...would you perform at 100%? Even if it’s a subconscious thing. Can see where they’re coming from...

It was Scott Mcdonald and Leanne Crighton. John Robertson even spoke about how deep we began to sit.

The subs they were able to bring in compared to our subs was telling. Other than Millar there was nothing that would improve us.

Dallas was brought on as Kiltie was tiring/out on his feet/ill. Kiltie was still more effective than Dallas who has no business playing at this level.

JJ being a negative bottle merchant cost us yet more points. I think his whole management style seems to put pressure on his own players... he has no faith in them.

Caley were there to be over-run tonight, but we backed off and handed them the initiative... one mistake and three points gone.

Falkirk form since Jan is far superior to ours. Are they really a 'far poorer team'?

Can’t beat us all season and are below us (and Queen of the South) in the table; yet some Morton fans seem to think that we’re actually heading to La Bombonera on Saturday instead. Sums up the current knicker-wetting mentality at the moment.

Sad!

We could've brought Millar on and kept the same shape. Telfer could have been pushed a bit higher up the park with kiltie. We were getting joy down our right with Tumilty, Kiltie and Lyon. The shape changed and that changed. We gradually sat deeper.

They threw men up top which should actually have created space for us if we had any competence up there as opposed to Dallas.

There were a good couple of minutes after that sub that Telfer was shouting at JJ with his arms up asking what he was supposed to be doing.

No wonder! We were coping with them and he was playing well where he was. Changed to an what looked like a 541. They had 4 up with big White causing problems in the air and he changes to a formation that basically invites them on top of us.

Thought the starting eleven were excellent tonight.

I'd blame Dallas more than Millar but its just one of those things. Millar tried to play it long and Dallas tried to spin behind.

Millar played it short and Dallas had turned to what he thought was going to a ball over the defence.

Make your mind up again? Is it JJ or Millar that’s cost us?

We lost the 2nd goal from someone (possibly Tidser? I’m

not sure) losing his man at the backpost. We should be able to do the absolute fundamental basics of sticking with your man!

I’m sure you were probably seething that Oliver had a decent enough game for us tonight aswell, worked his arse off and made the ball stick up top more than it has done for ages.

Your take on all things football is just bizarre.

Knicker wetting? We are in a real relegation battle here with an absolute dud calling the shots.

Tidsers non-celebration for the second goal was an embarrassment ! I know he’s a Falkirk player now but surely some of these guys are still his mates and letting them celebrate without him was the wrong decision
