Jamie_M 1030
Whereabouts is there a link to this podcast? Not released yet.
TRVMP 3872
Not sure I can bring myself to hear it. Like an ex trying to explain why she left you for a crap guy. I'm interested precisely because of this. The stadium was just resting in my account

TRVMP 3872
The Morton talk on this one starts around 24:30. He talks about his first spell. I'm listening to it now. Â For the MacKinnon and Falkirk dirt, gotta wait for part 2. The stadium was just resting in my account
TRVMP 3872
This is my first time listening to it. In terms of the podcast itself: the sound quality is rubbish and needs to improve. The host is pretty good precisely because he lets his guests talk. He asks questions just to move the conversation along, but Tidser is happy enough to take them in his direction. In a way this might actually be better than someone who knows a lot more about the subject matter (clearly he wasn't there for any of these games he mentions to Tidser) who might be inclined to talk more. Â There's nothing that ground-breaking or amazing about this (I only listened to the Morton and Rotherham parts). Other than Steve Evans, who he doesn't like at all (apparently he mistreated his staff, up to and including the girls who served the pre-match snacks) everyone is a "brilliant guy, to be fair, he was great, honestly". I'm not knocking Tidser here - he doesn't seem to be lying. He just seems to be easy to get along with. But if you're looking for drama and dirt... nah, not happening. Just some fairly benign recollections. Nothing wrong with that, of course. Â Maybe the most interesting thing is that Tidser says that Weatherson was a good influence on him and, of all the experienced players, was the one who offered him the most guidance. And apparently he was speaking to Aberdeen, Killie, and Bradford when he went to Rotherham. The stadium was just resting in my account
TheGoon 629
Steve Evans is an absolute serpent of an individual, I will agree with him there.
TRVMP 3872
Actually another interesting part is that he says constant shouted instructions from the touchline are off-putting (for him). Evans was a prick about it; Duffy also did it but not aggressively, just out of habit. The stadium was just resting in my account

capitanus 3406
To be fair to this Callum guy, his podcasts and his questions are decent and he seems enthusiastic. He's only a young guy, so fair play to him and good luck to him. Â I am listening to the Tidser one just now and he seems like a tedious cunt, with every answer along the lines of "...aye, he was bruwyint" etc. And "d'ye know whitta mean?" port-ton 145
Interesting that it was Carlo Monti that's responsible for us signing him. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things! Â
capitanus 3406
Interesting that it was Carlo Monti that's responsible for us signing him. Aye, only because Carlo Monti was the chairman at the time and was able to say: "Aye, my Fudgy Wudgy sales have been great this year and I need to saddle that fitba' club with some more debt, I think I'll sign that young Celtic Boays Club reject who's being playing good in some bounce games oot there". Â Ya dick. Â Fair enough if James Grady was given credit for Tidser signing, as he was the interim manager at the time, or even DDFR himself, but Mario fucking Cunto?!?!?!?! Â Just because they knew each other from the Harbourers it doesn't automatically mean that he was responsible for him signing. There is no such thing in life as normal. dunning1874 1414
Interesting that it was Carlo Monti that's responsible for us signing him. I haven’t had a chance to listen yet, was it just a case of Monti mentioning him because they played together at Celtic?  The sole redeeming feature of Grady’s disastrous tenure was that he made that one good signing, so it would be extremely funny of it turns out it was entirely by chance due to one of his players telling him. vikingTON 3253
To be fair That’s plenty. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..  So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

No plans to listen to it. If there’s one thing worse than sitting in a room listening to one Celtic fan telling us how Morton are a great wee club it’s listening to two of them. Fuck that. Cowshed Chris 38
Listened to Tidser Part 2, first one I've listened to. Quite impressed with the line of questioning and the approach overall. Some good and interesting stuff. Was surprised to come on here and see the guy getting grief, no pleasing some folk. Looking forward to listening to the others in due course. TheGoon 629
The guy wasn’t getting grief for them though. He got taken to task over being a Celtic/Man United fan earlier on, but there hasn’t been anything really critical of the content he’s put out.
