TRVMP
JB, the last person on here to criticize Jenks was 'garymcc', and we all know what happened to him.* *i actually don't know what happened to him but I assume he was hounded off for having shit opinions about midfielders. vikingTON
Average imo Whichwe've already established is meaningless drivel, after you screeched for Jamie fucking McDonagh to start a crucial promotion match instead of our leading scorer and assist-maker by a country mile. Thanks for playing anyway. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Mr.Blue
Jenkins was anything but average. He was a very good player for us. Could have done with him this season. Popular Post dunning1874
Dunning. Stats please. My pleasure. First Division games in 2008/09 Jenkins in the starting 11: P20, W11, D5, L4 Jenkins not in the starting 11: P16, W1, D6, L9 Average players don't make that much of a difference to a side. He absolutely carried us that season and he was doing it while playing alongside diddies like Masterton in midfield. Take Allan Jenkins out of that team and we'd have been relegated by a mile, no doubt about it. 6 Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake

dunning1874
While we're on that 08/09 season, I've been thinking about how similar it was to this season. Just like this season we had a dreadful start and end, but were the best team in the league through the second and third quarters. The main difference was the bad spells being the other way round: in 08/09 we started with nine games without a win whereas this season we ended with nine without a win, in 08/09 we ended with only three points from our last five games whereas this season we started with only three points from our first five games. That season we suffered as injuries to Jenkins exposed our lack of depth in midfield and left us relying on Masterton, McGuffie and Monti, this season we suffered as injuries to Quitongo and Oliver exposed our lack of depth in attack and left us relying on Shankland and Oyenuga. Hopefully this summer we don't repeat the mistake of 2009 by failing to address the lack of depth, not building on the decent season we had and ending up in a relegation battle. With a younger squad and some harmony around the club there's more reason to believe we're building on solid foundations rather than sand this time. TRVMP
Just noticed that Reece Hands spent the season with Gainsborough Trinity (sounds like a West Indian cricketer) although he hasn't even been on the bench since December. Anyway, they avoided relegation by a single point, so well done to him after six glorious appearances in the National League North.
vikingTON
The same, nothing level of the game that FC United of Manchester and their diminishing, infighting rabble of a fanbase are marooned in. vikingTON
Joe McKee cons a two-year deal from Falkirk. Between that news and the distinct possibility of Ross snaking the spoon-burners, everything is coming up The Famous today. 1 1 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club.
