Jamie_M
Is it any wonder the jury is split on JJ when the outlook is constantly swinging from positive to negative. At half time we were cementing our poisition in 4th, 8 points off the top and looking up. By full time we were 6th, 5 points off 8th and having just been turned over by the team currently in that position. Another abysmal result under JJ. JJ was starting to be cut some slack after a couple of good results, but yesterday's result changes the perspective of even those (marginally beating Partick and only just who are on a Caldwell led run to oblivion and marginally beating Ross County who are starting to flounder followed it up with a shoeing off QOS making that result not even as good as it seemed either). Little to no tactics, not reactive and talks shite (will continue to bleat that we lost purely because of a freak goal not him getting schooled by Goodwin). His transfer dealings so far not up to much either signing a midfielder when we have other glaring deficiencies (including having absolutely nothing up top) and the sum of his dealings in the 2 weeks of the window have amounted to a youth who failed to make the grade at Ross County (albeit he looked OK). Not that I wanted to sign him, but was interesting listening to the comments on the radio yesterday about Nicky Low running the show as Queens skelped County. Enthusiasm obliterated yet again. TRVMP
Sorry, I thought we were actually dealing with real achievements as a football club, as opposed to having a cum-soaked sock puppet and being 13 points behind Arbroath in the seaside league now. Fuming that we haven’t made that pinnacle of achievement tbh. If Morton had ever taken the lead at the Olympiastadion we'd be dining out on it to this day and you know it full well. edit: and remember they got through two rounds of the UEFA Cup to get there. OK, the teams they beat were Faroese and Icelandic, but they had to win the League Cup in the first place, beating a full-strength Celtic team in the final. That road to Munich was a real achievement, one we haven't been within a million miles of replicating since the 1960s.

TRVMP
That goal Worse than the descriptions even made it sound. Dunning has said pretty much exactly what I would. Individual errors have cost us games but they’re much, much less likely to happen to teams who know what they’re supposed to be doing and have at least some confidence in it. Body language from everyone involved, as well as Kilday, suggests as lack of organization, which is weird considering that we were (apparently) defensively alright in the previous two wins. I've said quite a few times that the defence just don't look comfortable with Scully. I'd like to think not being confident in a keeper wouldn't have too big an impact on how they played but it might be a factor and we certainly sat a lot deeper than we have. Cappiecat 1.2
...and we certainly sat a lot deeper than we have.As per JJ's insightful instructions for the 2nd half. "Right boys go out there, surrender the ball then play so deep you get in each others way to the point where you don't know where you should be on the pitch."
