TONofmemories
I see some people have laid some flowers etc at Cappielow. Also a nice touch. TIME FOR CHANGE!
Barmyboy
I think every Morton fan who can make it should go to Cappielow and sing our hearts out and give the man who saved our club the send off he deserves
jimbobton
For all McInally's sins, that was a nice tribute. Thought that too. Nice piece.
Madton
Be good if someone could video it passing Cappielow for those who can't make it, would like to watch it!
Glasgowguy.90
Reminder that Dougie will be making his final journey past Cappielow today around 12.40.
The Bewilderedbeast
Really good turnout, plenty of Morton tops and flags, even a wee dug wearing a blue and white hooped t shirt, and a very dignified round of applause as the hearse passed. Crawford was visibly moved. Well done all in attendance.

Just a thought, how well would a "Do it for Dougie" tshirt go down? With profits going to the Alzheimer's/ Dementia charities .

I would like to see the club ir fans come together and find the love street stand being put up and we could call it the Douglas Rae stand and give him a lasting tribute. I'm all for renaming the main stand or some other lasting tribute, but this would be a waste of money. That stand is probably scrap now anyway. Greacen2000
Thanks for everything Mr Rae. There have been many highs and lows under your stewardship, but if it wasn’t for you we might not have had either. Let’s hope we can honour Dougies memory in the best possible way and have a great season. And please everyone ‘bring a friend’
Malt
The club could maybe have a nominated charity each season and the one linked to Douglas could be this seasons?
