That's the football team I play for...

Make sure you wear your Ton strip to training tomorrow...

Ex-Morton scorers today were:

Ross Forsyth scored the winner for Airdrie...

Iain Russell scored two against us... <_>

Alan Trouten scored a hat-trick for Brechin as they routed Stenny.

Chris Aitken scored for Stranraer before getting sent off...

Nathan Shepherd scored a late consolation as the Shire got hammered.

and superstar Jonathan Toto scored in a 2-2 draw with Albirex Niigata's satellite side.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Seems to be banging them in for fun wherever he's went since leaving us. Why he wasn't given more time to settle in was a disgrace. Players of undoubted quality don't land on your doorstep every day, there's no doubt in my mind we'd be cruising the division with JT and Wee Archie up front together.

I don't know what level he's now at, but I hold my hands up and admit that I thought he was pretty useless for us. Was there any evidence that he was a 'player of undoubted quality'?

WIKI:

Allan Moore stated that he was unlikely to be kept on due to failing to find form in Inverclyde, saying that

"To be honest, I would have to say he's been disappointing".

Toto was embarrassingly poor except in one game against Dunfermline where he was inexplicably MotM. Other than that he had one outrageous multiple stepover against Thistle at Firhill. My theory is that he was twin brothers, one of whom was a footballer. The other one was Jonathan Toto and his twin brother played against the Pars in his place because Jonathan was hung over after a night in Word up on the Friday.

Was it Toto who was booed off the park after about 15 minutes or was that Donovan Simmonds?

Perhaps you're thinking of Dominic Shimmin!

No, he was a very good player when he could be bothered to turn up.

Are you being serious? Toto was s***e. His namesake from the wizard of oz would've been mor effective.

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement
