Not a big fan of that, prefer a good bottle of Budvar, especially the dark version.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

If someone could decide on what Erdinger is, I would prefer that all beverages called Lager are mentioned on this thread, a beer thread can be located elsewhere.

Erdinger do not make lagers. What's generally ordered as Erdinger is Erdinger Hefeweizen, which is their flagship product. Hefe means yeast and weizen means wheat, so it's a yeast-wheat beer (i.e. a wheat beer that doesn't have the yeast filtered out, making it a bit cloudy.)

It's an excellent hefe, particularly when it's on draught... but it ain't a lager.

Also, you know what's a good lager? Tennents. It gets a bad reputation because it's so normal and readily available, but as macro-lagers go it's a very good one. One of the best parts of coming home is that first pint of Tennents.

Over 'ere I like Tecate, a Mexican lager, and there's a few Texas efforts worth a drink as well.

Couldn't agree more. A good pint of Tennents Ice Cold on a warm afternoon is magic.

Beermonkey, looks like our Bud chat will need to stop - it's a beer and LAS will go mad if he hears us....
