  1. I was at the Cliftonville 3 v 0 Ballymena game in Belfast today. It was great to see Conor Pepper come on as a sub for Cliftonville. Not on long enough to make an impact, but made his presence felt with a couple of feisty tackles playing centre mid.
  2. Agree. Thought both teams were poor, with Bo'ness the slightly better team, deserved their victory.
  3. Should be a glorious week at work as we deal with several Fawkurk fans on a daily basis. We Wur the better team, They sat in and defended from the start, Time wasting from 5 mins in, How big was the crowd at Ayr?, 3rd biggest Derby in Scotland, Ah!, those salty tears will be delicious
  4. Not sure if this is the correct place for this, anyway. Went to Bonnyrigg v Annan tonight to tick the ground off with the boy. It was only when the teams were read out that we remembered that Reece Lyon was at Annan. The game largely passed him by as the Annan defence spent the night trying to outdo Morton in the longball stakes, however he did show glimpses of his capabilities, unfortunately not enough. Finished 2-0 Bonnyrigg in case anyone's interested, not a great standard either.
  5. A mate of mine (Falkirk fan, obvs) was the On Call joiner at the Cove game, this gave him access all areas, including the control room. He was being shown how the control room works, how they can tell how many people come in each turnstile in every area of the ground. Turns out the actual attendance, bodies through turnstiles, was just over 1,200, official attendance 3,113. How many times have we been there when they are announcing crowds of over 4,000 when we all know there's less than 2,000. I realise loads of clubs do this to make themselves look bigger than they actually are, but this is just them at their best/worst...delete as appropriate.
  6. Went to see The Rezillos in Falkirk last Saturday and they were awesome, first saw them at Grangemouth Town Hall in 1977. So... been listening to Can't Stand The Rezillos. Also saw Feeder at the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh last Saturday night, sixth or seventh time me and Mrs cT have seen them live and never been disappointed. Got Idlewild at the Old Leith Theatre in May.
  7. Currently listening to White Lies - To Lose My Life. Really like all 3 of they're albums, heard there's a 4th coming out next year.
  8. Jaime xx feat Romy - Loud Places, Love Romy's voice.
  9. Listening to Kraftwerk - Computer World. Taking me back to when I had to have a haircut...happy days.
  10. Alex Williams is currently playing for Falkirk amateur team Pennies and has apparently been running riot. A pal told me he scored 5 goals in a game a few weeks ago.
  11. Possibly Davie, I'm sure I read that he's been playing guitar since primary school. Saw him playing guitar for Edwyn Collins at Oran Mor, absolute two-fer for Loraine and me, we love both of them.
  12. Been listening to Aztec Camera - High Land High Rain album...had forgotten how good it was. Roddy Frame doesn't get the credit he deserves.
  13. No mate, I'll be in Gdansk or else I'd have gone to Edinburgh.
  14. I know what you mean about Marr v Tobias. Like you, I've been to a couple of Johnny Marr gigs and hearing him play songs like This Charming Man, How Soon Is Now, Bigmouth Strikes Again and Still Ill were much better that hearing them at a Moz gig. Pleased to hear that you thought he was "probably good". Johnny Marr in Edinburgh Oct 14/Kilmarnock Oct 15 ???
  15. Magazine - Shot by Both Sides, The Light Pours Out Of Me, Aztec Camera - Oblivious, Icehouse - Hey Little Girl, Buzzcocks - Harmony In My head, Promises, What do I get?, Boredom, The Damned - New Rose, The Clash - White Riot, Janie Jones, Garageland, London Calling, Train in Vain. I know Deego went down to Hull to see Morrissey, I'd like to know how the gig was? If I'd only heard 2 Smiths songs and they were Meat Is Murder and What She Said (great song) I'd be fuckin' raging, thoughts Deego? Have returned to my punk/indie roots tonight and it feels goooood!!!!
  16. Been listening to London Grammar, impressed.
  17. Currently listening to all 3 of The Sundays albums. If there is a more attractive female singer than Harriet Wheeler, then I'd love to see her. She is also my 2nd favourite female singer after Liz Fraser.
  18. The new White Lies album - Big TV. Thought this was ok after the initial listening, however, I really like this now that I've heard it about 10 times. Particularly like; Big TV, There Goes Our Love Again, First Time Caller and my favourite track Change.
  19. Bloody hell, it says a lot when I have to scroll down to page 2 to find this thread. Tho' to be fair, if I was posting everything that I was listening to, I would be posting every day. Tonight I've been listening to The Guillemots, Cast and Kraftwerk.
  20. White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl. Love the song and the LEGO video.
  21. Grimes - Oblivion. Johnny Marr - The Messenger The XX - Crystalised
