I'm not overly confident about this one, but it's not exactly 1970 Brazil we're dealing with. I'd like to think that, with our lack of attacking threat and our lack of quality in the final third, we've spent a considerable amount of time at training working on our set-piece routines.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

Prepare to be disappointed then based on last week's showing. Not sure where King was last week as he should be starting instead of Lyall - not least to provide an occasional set-piece delivery worth the name.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Could King be one of the unidentified 'injured in training' players who are out for a while?

Wilson was down for a minute or so getting treatment in the first half. Ref blew for half time right on 45 minutes. There's something about that which sums up refereeing at this level.

According to sky sports we’ve only had one shot at goal and it came in the 76th minute. That’s atrocious. Glad I couldn’t make it today

Won’t stop Imrie claiming we thoroughly deserved a victory, and on another day we could’ve won 3 games.

Good result, grim performance though we did look improved after the subs came on.

Moffat and Lyall should be parked on the bench next week. Reynolds at least ran at his defender and caused problems while Garrity is our only half serious threat until the Serb hitman returns.

Very kind set of fixtures (Airdrie, Dunfermline, Partick) to finish the quarter, so 9th on GD is probably a false position right now. If we don't improve in January that is where we will end up though.

Absolute pish game of football today and to top it off it was freezing too.

We at least threatened Livingston when Garrity and Reynolds came on. They have to start next week. Garrity has to do better when through on goal and at least hit the target.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

We were much improved towards the end there with both Moffat and Lyall in the stand. A 0-0 at home to 2nd in the league isn’t the worst result, despite a pretty dire performance until the last 15 mins.

Don’t know which Livi player it was that blew it near the end as he really should have got a shot away, and we may be responsible for getting ourselves into such a state, but fair play to Delaney making that 70 yard sprint back to get a last ditch tackle in when he initially looked like he had no chance of making it.

First 75 odd minutes today were a continuation of the last hour against Ayr. Much better after the subs came on. We were fortune that Livi were so wasteful in the final third, and a couple of pieces of last ditch defending saved us in the second half.

I think we all know what one of the main takeaways from that match was. Unfortunately, it's time for the pair of them to be benched.

I’ve so little to say about that game, such was the level of boredom induced. Good point for us, and credit to Delaney for running the length of the pitch to make that goal saving tackle.

Total mince for the entirety of that game. Defence is generally solid although the amount of time Woods takes to take a goal kick or free kick is infuriating.

Midfield was non existent with Blues being the worst culprit for just kicking it anywhere. Moffat and Lyall need dropped, Lyall especially. Absolute passenger today and the amount of times he just hides behind an opposition player is really poor.

Decent point but performance wise that was absolutely brutal.

Garrity dragged his strike just wide of the far post from the edge of the box. In that situation, I'd rather he aims for the bottom corner (and got it slightly off today) to definitely beat the keeper than just producing any shot 'on target' that would most likely have been saved.

That was one of the worst games I have ever been to. Lyall is a complete passenger and Moffat has done nothing for weeks both need a spell out the team. Davies worked hard but was isolated most of the game

I thought the easier option was to try to roll the ball into the bottom right hand corner but hindsight....

That would be to the keeper's near post though (so unlikely to roll it in successfully from the edge of the box) and IIRC it was taken with Garrity's weaker foot as well. As decisions and execution of them went for us in today's game it's not one I'd criticise, but the highlights could well prove me wrong.
