shagster
In non-dinosaur managerial news. Alloa have given St Mirren permission to speak to Jack Ross, which saddens me greatly. But that's to shore up their shitey defence.

9 Strathblane Crescent
What a steaming pile of shite this thread is. Surely someone's hacked the vikings account. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Dunoon_Ton
Have you ever listened to the 'Tell him he's Pele' podcasts? There is one with Davie Irons & its actually pretty interesting some of the stuff he comes away with about Morton & the whole Grady/McManus coup "He's not the messiah........He's a very naughty boy!.............Now P*ss Off!" SramTon
It was undoubtedly TTG when he left*: largely owing to the multiple, untreatable stab wounds inflicted by the chief snakes. That does however diminish the role played over months by many armchair sports scientists among the Morton fanbase, who at that time felt qualified to declare with great confidence (often using highly dubious, "inside knowledge") that Irons' training regime was responsible for jobbers like Kevin Finlayson being injured. A suggestion that was conveniently ditched as soon as a less distasteful manager to them took charge: no-one for example seriously claims that Duffy is responsible for our current, extensive injury list. The same gormless attitude led many posters to believe that King Snake wasn't actually a cold-blooded reptile at all: solely because he chatted away to them while they took part in a fans' game. Four months later, he knifed a first team manager and siithered into an assistant role to his mate within minutes of the deed being done. "Jobbers like Kevin Finlayson" You mean the Kevin Finlayson whose very name neatly sums up Jim McInally's entire managerial philosophy and competency in two words? You mean Kevin Finlayson, the jobber and contract rebel who David Irons laughably offered a massively improved contract extension to upon the threat that he may sign for Dunfermline Athletic, when any half-way competent manager would have personally driven him to East End Park? Look at her riding pillions on Davy’s sea-bike, carrying an apoplectic macaw in a silver hoop. Oh, Morton, let’s go there this winter! Or learning the Japanese chinchona from that Kobe group, in a dress that looks like a blowtorch rising from one knee, and which should sell big in Texas. Morton, is that real fire? Happy, happy little girl!

Nice try at deflecting from the point of the section you just quoted: that many disgraceful 'boo-boys' on this forum accused a professional of deliberately injuring his own players - because said, chump fans were i) absolutely seething about Sir David Irons' highly successful but pragmatic style of football and so ii) gobbled up laughable 'insider accounts', provided to the Zhivagos of this world by certain snakes within the club. Safe to say then that any lectures from posters on here about acceptable fan behaviour towards a manager or other club employees should be filed in the bin where they belong. Utterly shameless hypocrisy from Morton fans on here and now a glorious vindication of the victim; just let that sink in. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
Ed de Ball
So hoofball from big, physical , mainly talentless lumps is redefined as a pragmatic style. Nice one. Why don't the pair of you just get a room and save us all from your turgid prose.
