Jackie
I have it on my computer but don't use it anymore. Why? I use Last.fm. Or Audioscrobbler as us old schoolers like to call it. Why d'yer ask Jackie? No reason really, I was just wondering. Been using it for a short while now but recently started to uncover a few gems on it from using the scrobbler. "I dreamt about you last night, and I fell out of bed twice, you can pin and mount me, like a butterfly, but, take me to the haven of your bed, was something that you never said, two lumps please, you're the bees' knees, but, so am I." And I'm not even pished tonight.

Guest Ghost
Even though at one point she said on an American Talk show her future was to see a Scottish soldier killed in Northern Ireland, which caused outrage, this song is still strong Nothing Compares

Loveless
Tom Waits - Raindogs. Sublime. riverrun, past Eve and Adam’s, from swerve of shore to bend of bay, brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs. cmdc
Can't remember if I've posted this before, but this (excellent) site has the studio recordings for The Seahorses aborted second album. It's not bad, and worth a listen if you enjoy the odd 90s nostalgia trip.... http://www.john-squire.com/mp3.html EDIT TO ADD: The videos of John Squire joining Oasis for Champagne Supernova and I Am The Walrus at Knebworth are also well worth a watch! TonInDublin
MGMT - Time To Pretend. Best Album in the last 18 months by a mile. Any song with these lyrics is legendary seriously, read them through - lethal !!! .... lyrics and youtube for you lazy fuckers......... I'm feeling rough, I'm feeling raw, I'm in the prime of my life. Let's make some music, make some money, find some models for wives. I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and fuck with the stars. You man the island and the cocaine and the elegant cars. This is our decision, to live fast and die young. We've got the vision, now let's have some fun. Yeah, it's overwhelming, but what else can we do. Get jobs in offices, and wake up for the morning commute. Forget about our mothers and our friends We're fated to pretend To pretend We're fated to pretend To pretend I'll miss the playgrounds and the animals and digging up worms I'll miss the comfort of my mother and the weight of the world I'll miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog and my home Yeah, I'll miss the boredom and the freedom and the time spent alone. There's really nothing, nothing we can do Love must be forgotten, life can always start up anew. The models will have children, we'll get a divorce We'll find some more models, everything must run it's course. We'll choke on our vomit and that will be the end We were fated to pretend To pretend We're fated to pretend To pretend http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=XVnRzEjpUmE TonInDublin Two Uniteds but the soul is one, as the Busby Babes carry on. Boozehound
Good call TiD, the MGMT album is tremendous. I can't really comment mind, my taste in music is shit. I'm currently listening to trance music from the golden era of 1999 to 2003. An internet fud is still a fud.
