Douglas pressurised the manager into ditching a formation that had lost zero competitive matches in 90 minutes, replacing it with that joke of a system today. The bottom line is Moore's bottle crashed today when the chairman continued to talk utter s***e about the formation. As a result, we lost a game we would have easily won under the 4-5-1. What this shows is that 1) Allan Moore's position is untenable and 2) Douglas Rae is a tactical and footballing moron. Rae is a footballing dinosaur and until we change ownership we cannot move forward. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Too early in league campaign to panic....chairmans view too. Let's see what happens when big marko and tidser back in team. Apart from thistle league pretty tight at this stage. The defeat to Falkirk was hardly surprising. That said Moore has now built three teams and we're no better off. Our home form is dire. If we cannot beat a poor Dumbarton side next week then Moore has to go, unfortunately even if he wins by 5 it's merely a stay of execution unless results thereafter significantly improve. NO wonder we cant cant get managers of good calibler here when all we do is berate everything any **** does. He said he'll have us in the spl by 3 years, we are no-where better off than when he took over, James grady signed his best player, Michael tidser. Give mark mcglaughlin the job, a natural leader nd every player will know to give 100% under every single game. Make Peter his number 2 with Alan Combe around as experience. That's my choice, they really can't do much worse than the diddys we have already. Criticise all you want, that would be the cheapest option. It's seemed to work for Alloa, Arbroath, Cowdenbeath, Allan Johnstone is doing well at qos. Why not give these guys a chance to see what they can do and hopefully everyone will give them the backing, cause its quite clear very few people have faith in Moore, some of his signings nd tactical changes have been baffling from the very first season. Everyone can see that but you don't compensate for it by throwing on another guy who can't hold the ball up. Moore is a tactical moron and is having pressure put on him by someone who knows even less about tactics, the latter being so out-of-touch that he just became aware of the Allies landing in Normandy. We can continue bemoaning the current manager and his squad of injury-prone journeymen or we can look at the bigger picture. The current regime will only appoint managers that give him his meddling fix. Any manager who lets a chairman interfere with the dressing room procedure is not destined for the top, hence the reason our previous three managers have not exactly excelled since leaving. However this regime is the only regime we can have in charge. Catch twenty-two. We are in a dreadful tail-spin and it's getting to the point where it is difficult to properly enjoy short term success like a win (not that we've seen many) because my focus is constantly considering the long-term sustainability of the club. With Rae we appoint pushover managers who listen to his deluded s***e, which achieves poor results which reduces the gate numbers, and without him we fold.
