Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Anya looked decent for Watford last season. Thought he was a winger though... I had to check that out too, I'm sure I saw a Watford game where he was causing havoc down the right wing, and I was right. Wonder why he's been listed amongst the defenders? garymcc1874
The thought of David Marshall in goal against Belgium is frightening. Ikechi Anya is a winger, and a very good one. I'd imagine it'll be the same side who played England except McGregor & Miller obviously - I'd like Rhodes but get the feeling Strachan will go for the extremely overrated Leigh Griffiths. TTG JIM!!! lazy_ar*e_student
Journalist Gordon Waddell tweeted a pic of the Squad Pic and he is defo listed as a defender. Originally there is only 7 defenders listed, so potentially only 6. https://twitter.com/GordonWaddell/status/37...3560320/photo/1 WHEREVER IT TAKES US- WHATEVER IT TAKES

Actually, I forgot Forrest played the England game so hopefully not. Marshall (should be Gilks) Hutton Martin Hanley Whittaker Brown Morrison Naismith Maloney Snodgrass Griffiths (should be Rhodes) is my prediction for the Belgium game. TTG JIM!!! ton5saints1
Whats happened to Johnny Russell and Scott Allen ? Don't follow English football too much but aren't they worth a shout.
BluebirdTon
Russell's scored a couple of goals already for Derby. Odd that he should be left out whilst Griffiths, who plays at a lower level, is included. Must be injured. ThornTON
No idea why Bannan is included, we aren't playing him and there's talk of him getting punted to Championship side Blackburn before the window shuts.
ThornTON
Griffiths (should be Rhodes) Based on what? Griffiths scoring for fun in League One, or Rhodes taking until his sixth game of the season to score (against 10-man Barnsley)?
EanieMeany
Whats happened to Johnny Russell and Scott Allen ? Don't follow English football too much but aren't they worth a shout. Scott Allan looked absolutely fantastic from what I seen of him for the u-21s and Dundee United, he looked a genuine top prospect but after acting the bawbag about money at Tannadice he doesn't seem to have done a great deal. Think he's at Birmingham now, hope he can establish himself and push on from there. It'd seem like quite a waste of he ends up a perennial Championship-dweller. Russell's scored a couple of goals already for Derby. Odd that he should be left out whilst Griffiths, who plays at a lower level, is included. Must be injured. Was out with a broken leg for while, seems to have been fit from the start of the season though. I think Russell's a cracking player, quite disappointed he isn't included when some dud like Mackie is.* His time will come though, I'd imagine he'll be a regular sooner than later especially in the absence of Kenny Miller. *Cue someone mentioning he plays in the EPL...so did Steven Caldwell. Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Steven Fletcher scored for Sunderland tonight. Still time to get him into the team for next week, even as an impact sub.

Agreed, his Premiership record is pretty damn good. 12 in 29 for basement dwellers like the Mackems!
lazy_ar*e_student
Dorrans and Morrison withdrawn from squad. I hope that Belgium have a number of call offs, looking like a very good team we will be facing next week. garymcc1874
Morrison is a huge loss for us. Dorrans probably wouldn't have been involved though. I still reckon Craig Bryson is worth a call up. TTG JIM!!!
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Morrison is a big miss for sure, but fortunately it's in one of the positions where we have plenty of replacements, so I think we should be able to cope with the loss. Might give us the chance to play Maloney in behind the striker, where he has played so well with Wigan in the last year or so.
lazy_ar*e_student
4 call ups for squad. Craig Bryson, Chris Burke, Kevin Thomson and Lee Wallace. Interesting that Fletcher wasn't called up. It can't be because of lack of playing time if other players are in who don't feature? It can't be because of lack of playing time if other players are in who don't feature? Agree with three of them, but Kevin Thomson is a joke. He was awful in the last televised Hibs game, looked a shadow of the player that got him the move to Ibrox, then Middlesbrough.
