cowshed_warrior Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 seeing as there are calls for everyone to be 'friends' and have a laugh... why dont the mods/owner, have an amnesty... a one off amnesty where all bannings will be rescinded.. all warnings reduced to zero... and have a happy chart... were posters will recieve a percentage on thier bar for nice happy friendly behaviour.. when you reach 100% you get your username in bold letters and coloured gold..... what do all my good good friends think of that idea .. eh mates.... ??????? The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Could you imagine how much he'd lap up the attention he'd get on his return, and how he'd twist it all to make out that although he's been treated dreadfully justice has prevailed and he was right all along. I think the board is more than fair with the people who use it, (compared to nearly every other board I've been a member of) - so when someone is excluded from the board, it's not a step taken lightly and therefore it's not something that is up for negotiation. In terms of the gentleman referenced above, I have it on good authority he wouldn't want to come back anyway, so if that was the gist of the thread, then you're pushing at an open door I'm afraid.
