Last Match You Went To?

Good comedy value today at Somerset, with Ayr losing to Albion Rovers, finished 0-2 despite Albion being bloody woeful!

Not worth the £12, but at least I know that with Ayr, Raith and Livingston in the league there's no chance of us getting relegated. :)

Horrendous game at Hampden today, we left after 14 minutes when the third went in... was expecting it to

end in double figures the way they were playing but thankfully Queen's managed to get some respectability back and it finished 1-4.

How can you say a game's horrendous when you only watch the first fourteen minutes of it?

It was embarrassingly bad from Queen's, even Sinc was making an arse of himself and gave QOS a goal.

Made the right choice to leave as feck all happened for another hour!

East Stirling were 3-0 down against St Mirren in no time today and by all accounts it was a brilliant game. 14 minutes is a ridiculous waste of time and money in my opinion and, having seen so roughly a sixth of the game doesn't really give you much authority to describe the game as "horrendous".

It was £2 in, if I'd had to pay the tenner it costs at Cappielow then probably would have stayed, but for that it wasn't worth suffering. After the way they played against Fleetwood I thought they'd do okay, but they were playing the same way that got them ONE shot against Annan last week!

Few of my mates are posting on the P&B match thread, and the ones that have ain't exactly being complimentary!

Something to do, my mates support Ayr and QP.

Morton weren't playing except yesterday and I wouldn't go back to Cowdenbeath as my back hurt for 3 months after sitting in that stand with no backs to the benches last time.

No segregation at Central Park this time - you could have stood opposite the stand :)

My mate's from Venlo and I saw them play Willem II two seasons ago. Great little stadium. Hoping to get to a game there this season. Last game I saw was Polonia Warszawa v Budocinsti Podgorica in Europa League.

Cracking wee stadium and a little unusual the way its laid out. Used to go and watch them most friday nights and stop in Sounds records store (best record store in the world!!!) before the game and get a couple of albums. Good place for a few beers too :D

Chelsea-Club America at Cowboys Stadium last Sunday. That place is a palace.

I could've guessed you'd be impressed by that. For me, hi -tech slidey roofs could never compensate for the antique charms of (the old and original) Yankee Stadium or Wrigley Field. But those are rounders stadiums, and you're talking american football stadiums. I still say feck to oil baron bush money funded crap like the cowboys' place, I'd prefer Soldier Field anyday. Have you ever been to Chicago? The city is a temple to architecture, and the colonnades of Soldier Field bear testimony to that.

Edit to add: I last visited Soldier Field in 2002, prior to the 'improvements'. I see the colonnaded entrance still survives, but little else. Oh dear.

It's certainly a temple to Art Deco, The Chrysler Building, Grand Central Station and Radio City being the best of examples. But you said American Architecture, and the Father of all that was founded in Chicago.

Last time I was in Soldier field was 2001, what's it used for now that the Fire have their own purpose built stadium?

Was bloody extortionate (about $50 a ticket), fleecing the Polaks and Mexicans, hence why the crowd was only 4,000 odd in one of the world's biggest cities.

American 'Football'. The NFL Chicago Bears play there and have done since the 1970s.

Celtic v Rangers - league cup 5 or 6 years back. Won tickets by entering an NTL competition online ( entered all competions not just this one).

Feckin hated every darn minute of it. Stuck among Rangers scum looking out of place not singing along to their bile

Was going to watch game downstairs at pie stall after 20 mins but persevered - wish I hadn't. I hated every minute of it

Best game in the world? Feck no give me the Queens Park v Morton game at Hampden a couple of days before anyday.
