Can't stop listening to George Harrison - Run Of The Mill.

Bought Biffy Clyro's most recent album, Only Revolutions, the other day and was surprised at how good it was. A lot of the songs remind me of the Foo Fighters' stuff, particularly 'Golden Rule' and 'Cloud of Stink': WPTZmHsFBas Favourite songs at the moment are 'Bubbles', 'Many of Horror' and 'Know Your Quarry'.

I was in college with a huge metal / hard rock fan from the USA and he always insisted that was the case. He said he lost all respect for Metallica after the black album. I'm not a huge Metallica fan, or a metal fan for that matter but I do own the Black album which probably says it all.

I bought the re-issue of Morrissey's Southpaw Grammar in Rhythmic yesterday, so I've been listening to that.

I went to see them on their 'last ever tour' at the SECC in 2000. The only concert I've ever been to that I had to sit at the back of an arena. The music was good but sitting - and so far from the stage - made the experience dreadful.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Try, Try, Try

I wasn't that impressed first time around but after a few listens I really like it. My favourite songs are: Something is squeezing my skull, Mama lay softly on the riverbed, I'm throwing my arms around Paris, It's not your birthday anymore and I'm OK by myself.

I bought it tonight and I'm currently in the middle of listening to it for the first time. I'm not sure what to think so far.

Listened to this three times and I think it's amazing. Favourite songs just now are 'Give Back The Sun', 'One Off Pretender' and 'Temptation Dice'.
