Should Morton Now Vote Yes

Recommended Posts

If Rangers or whatever they are called end up in Division 3 then they will definately reorganise the leagues in order to get them back up ASAP.

The SPL/SFA are getting desperate.

I would accept us voting yes on the following grounds.

1) Certifed by a lawyer reorganisation to 16 teams for a minimun of 10 years.

2) All votes are equal

3) One million pounds..Who do you think we are ??Dr Evil??? make that Five Million

4) Free Travel - paid for by the SPL clubs - for all SFL fans to away games with the exception of any clubs formed in the past 2 years.

5) A fiver into all Div 3 games, £7 into all 2nd and maximum £10 into SFL Div one games.

6)Neil Doncaster to tour every SFL ground this season and wear a back and front signage stating "The End Is Nigh"

7) A Jelly lifesize Statue to Stuart Regan to be placed at the entrance to Hampden

8) Rangers to play in Green and White Hoops.

9) Any supporters arrested for Bigoted behavior costs their team 3 points.

JB.

Other than that its still a definate NO for me!

Power To The Powerless,

Strength Unto The Weak!

I see the Daily Ranger is going with the headlines like;

"WE CANNOT AFFORD SPORTING INTEGRITY"

and

"1ST DIVISION IS ENOUGH PUNSIHMENT ALREADY"

WHY are they not pulling up Doncaster for his LIES?

WHY are they not questioning the paltry TV deal with SKY?

WHY are they not questioning why sponsors have clauses in their contracts that says they can pull out if there is not 4 old firm derbies a season?

What an ABSOLUTE rag that is... pathetic excuse for journalism

Could it be press boxes and comfy seats/catering are non existent at these wee diddy grounds....the lack of comfort for two or more years...

nah TBH it's the old same worn out threats that have been wheeled out since day 1...

Let Newco go to the third and if it weakens those in the Self Preservation League so be it and let them find the level they can afford to exist that OR you know the other consequences of the Newco getting placed in the first...

It will let your SPL clubs who are massively in debt follow the 'leader'...

What if Hearts, Eberdeen or any of our alleged other 'top' clubs get into future admin, this will soften the blow, a wee drop down one division....the diddy clubs can be s*** on easily as the last time their arses collapsed (if this vote goes for the SPL/SFA tomorrow)....

Thumb down....

Orf with Doncaster et al heads.....

St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour has hit out at Scottish Football League chairmen after they vote a Rangers newco into the Third Division.

Representatives from 30 member clubs overwhelmingly decided Sevco Scotland Limited must play in the bottom tier of the league structure after rejecting proposals which could have seen the Ibrox side play in the First Division.

Gilmour was one of ten SPL chairmen to vote against admitting Charles Green’s new company into Scottish football’s top flight earlier this month.

In an interview with the Paisley Daily Express the Buddies chief says the SFL’s decision has done damage to the game.

He told the paper: “This is horrific news for St Mirren Football Club. The consequences are terrible – catastrophic even.

“What happens next? Well, there is an SPL meeting on Monday and we will need to see what is said then and take it from there.

“The St Mirren board will meet in the days after that SPL meeting and decide what is the best way forward but we are already looking at major redundancies.”

Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan has come under pressure in recent days over his handling of the situation.

However Gilmour added: “To be fair to Stewart Regan, the document he released last week was a good document.

“It set out changes to Scottish football that would bring in a fairer structure, fairer distribution system, fairer everything.

“Unfortunately, the people in the SFL have not bought into that. I just hope they realise the damage they have done to Scottish football.

“Five clubs in the SPL could be in administration within weeks – and we will have to do everything we can to avoid being one of them.”

Speculation continues over the possible creation of an SPL2, however Gilmour appeared to dismiss the idea.

He said: “The SFA and the other bodies are already talking about the options and that could be decided on Monday.

“As for an SPL 2, I’m not sure that is any better than letting Rangers back into the top flight.

unreal

Oh dear... It's all the SFL clubs fault.. How stupid can one man get!!! He was one of the people who thought the SFL clubs should just succumb to the SPL request and muck up our leagues, not to mention the fact that some clubs in our league might have had to fold if sporting integrity was not maintained due to fan desertion, but stuff that it would only be teams in the lower league that don't really matter.. We did not do the damage to Scottish football, old Rangers did but Gilmour expected us to do something about it. This is a problem that should not even involved us..
