The Bewilderedbeast
While the volume on the tannoy at half time on Saturday was not great, I'm sure that Crawford said that that it was good to hear banter and laughter coming from the dressing room again? If that's correct, it speaks volumes, and for me,suggests that the previous management team had lost the dressing room. Listening to McKeown's interview, he's another that says the presence of McKinnon and Taylor were a big, if not the main, reason he decided to sign. BishopBrennan
I wouldn't read into that too much. Some players/managers like a laugh on the training ground all week but are serious on a matchday, and some prefer a more relaxed atmosphere in the dressing room. You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!
SpoonTon
Many players were vocal in their backing of Duffy, and expressed surprise when he left, so I don't think there were any big issues there.
TONofmemories
No issues because of the old pals act. TIME FOR CHANGE!
Mr Toon
It's hard to be full of banter and laughter when you are having a final quarter like we had. Generally professional footballers hate to lose and it would hardly be surprising if the dressing room was a fairly dismal place at that time. Indeed if it wasn't, it should have been, the Cowshed wasn't a bundle of laughs either!
HamCam
While I was never a big fan of Duffy there is no way he lost the dressing room. Most if not all the players have been vocal in their support of Duffy unfortunately it was largely their performances on the park that got the man sacked! Personally, I am not that bothered if the Cappielow dressing room is a laugh a minute environment as long as we get results.
Jamie_M
Duffy didn't lose the dressing room, but he probably should have.
