I will have to wait until they go on general sale if the others coming in the away end all want to sit together.

So who's all actually going in the away end then ?

I'd expect Villa's win over Blackburn has pushed them clear of relegation now but I think this game at Villa Park could see Villa relegate the Blades.

Cutting it a bit fine there!

So what you suggest I do, let guys some of whom are attending there 1st Blades game sit themselves? I'm in a situation here, but I suppose if I lose due to waiting on the public sale there is always a chance of getting one from contacts in Sheffield. We will have to wait and see.

Suppose you could order the tickets and pick them up at the ground, rather than trust the Post Office that close to the game.

Aston Villa's Chris Sutton will decide within the next 10 days whether to quit football because of an eye problem.

The former Celtic and Blackburn striker, 33, has been out since suffering blurred vision in December's home game against Manchester United.

Sutton has visited several specialists but there has been no improvement, and Villa boss O'Neill said: "Chris has got another specialist to see.

"He will make his mind up about things after that, within the next 10 days."

Sutton signed for Villa from Birmingham in the summer on a one-year deal, and had just started to make a meaningful contribution before the setback against United.

But O'Neill explained: "Chris has got a genuine concern.

"His concern is that no-one can give him any guarantees about what might be the consequences if he got cracked on the head again.

"Whatever eyesight Chris has now, he would obviously want to keep, so he must bear that in mind when deciding his whole future and career."

And the BBC provide us with a very insightful comment from Martin O'Neill...

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill will not prevent Juan Pablo Angel switching to Major League Soccer in America.

The Colombian, 31, has one year left on his contract but is understood to be close to agreeing a two-year deal with New York Red Bulls.

"I wouldn't stand in his way," said O'Neill. "A few weeks ago I wouldn't have considered it.

"We still needed points and John Carew was out injured but John is on his way back and Luke Moore is also back."

It has been reported that the MLS side are prepared to match the £40,000-per-week wages of the final year of Angel's Villa contract and offer him a further 12 months.

O'Neill added: "Maybe now he feels the upper echelons of the Premiership might be eluding him but there could be a great chance to start a new life in America.

"Juan has a year left on his contract here and obviously we're trying to re-structure.

"There are two transfer windows over in America and I wouldn't stand in his way if he has the chance to extend his career."

With Villa buying Ashley Young from Watford in January, plus the emergence of Gabriel Agbonlahor as well as Carew and Moore, Angel has slipped down the pecking order at the Midlands club.

"Juan has been really excellent since I came here to the football club, in terms of being a real professional, and I genuinely have nothing but praise for him," stated O'Neill.

"In the latter stages, perhaps he hasn't played the number of games he would hope to but I thought earlier in the season he was excellent for us, led the line and did great.

"He lost his place in the side just after Christmas but ever since then his attitude has been great."

Angel joined Villa from Argentine side River Plate for £9.5m in January 2001.

His best season was in 2003-2004 when he scored 23 goals, with Villa only missing out on a Uefa Cup place on goal difference to Newcastle.

And MON with another odd quote... "Maybe now Angel feels the upper echelons of the Premiership might be eluding him"

Defender Olof Mellberg expects to hold contract talks with Aston Villa before he joins up with the Sweden squad in June for the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

The 29-year-old Mellberg has just over 12 months left of his current deal.

Mellberg said: "We've talked a little bit but we will see what happens over the next few weeks.

"We've got three weeks before the end of the season, then I've got a couple of internationals so we'll probably have a talk before those."

The Swede added: "The manager has expressed he would like me to stay in the club for longer than that year and I have expressed I am happy at the club."

:D
