Because at that point we were looking the better side, albeit we’d left it late. A winner was a possibility in a game where we ought to have been behind, yet rather that go for it, Mullen was told to hold onto it. The guy in front of me absolutely lost it at Imrie for that.

Imrie was entirely correct IMO. Having two positive passages of play after 10/15 minutes of being under the cosh doesn't mean we should suddenly start trying to force a winner. Given how poor we were in midfield, and the large gap between the midfield and defence for the majority of the match, settling for a point was the correct approach at that point.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

Or, they were well aware of the Airdrie score at that point so weighed up the limited benefit of chasing a winner with the playoffs a losing battle even if we won vs risking the point as we try to see off any threat of falling to 9th.

Conceding an Ayr winner was also a possibility and your own judgment of the game confirms which one was more likely.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
